Hello there

New stuff from Knight Models, this time all is for the 'wargames friendly' 30 mm. Star Wars series.

More info and pics in the links:

- Battle Droids. 5 models blister/box (i don't know), sculpted by Israel González, painted by Alfonso Giraldes. Link: http://www.knightmodels.com/product.php?id_product=106

- Super Battle Droids. 4 models blister/box, sculpted by Israel González, painted by José Manuel Palomares. Link: http://www.knightmodels.com/product.php?id_product=108

And some really interesting discount sets.

- Republic Jedis Set. Box/Blister with 7 models. Link: http://www.knightmodels.com/product.php?id_product=112

- Separatist Droid Army. Box set with 15 battle droids, 8 super battle droids, General Grievous and magna guard and Count Dooku. Link: http://www.knightmodels.com/product.php?id_product=110

I think the last army box is an interesting option for a Star Wars RPG game or some wargames with robot-like soldiers (necrons?).

I hope this could be interesting.

Cheers!

Damn, love both the jedi box and the Separatist box, really nice range they have over there now.

First time in ages, I've been tempted to buy models just for paint and display.

For a bulk of Battle Droids, the Wizard prepainted ones are very convenient and much cheaper. Waiting for Droidica miniatures though.

Yeah kroot, i agree with you, even the tau/necron conveted ones are a lot more cheaper... Those minis are great, but they are a hell lot of expensive, very out of my possibilities fos small toy soldiers :(

Hello there.

New models and some info about this company.

First of all the minis, all new releases this month, more images and info on the links.

For the 70 mm. scale Marvel Universe ltd. edition models:

- Elektra. Sculpted by Carles Vaquero, painted by Jose M. Palomares. Link: http://www.knightmodels.com/product.php?id_product=113

For the 70 mm. scale Military Series. Modern day soldiers:

- Delta Force. Sculpted by Darko Bagaric, painted by Jose M. Palomares. Link: http://www.knightmodels.com/product.php?id_product=114

For the 30 mm. scale Star Wars models:

- Emperor Royal Guards. Blister with 2. Sculpted by Israel González, painted by Jose M. Palomares. LinK: http://www.knightmodels.com/product.php?id_product=115

Some info:

- It seems that Knight Models have experienced some issues and problems with the caster company, so several faulty models have been sold, apparently unnoticed. So the manager of KM has said that any customer that could have experienced any problem or mistake with the KM miniatures, can get in touch with them by their customer service email: atencionalcliente@knightmodels.com

And a pair of rumours i have read on some spanish websites. I think they are very interesting, so i post them here. However, I cannot say how accurate are them, so take it as you wish...

- It has been said that Knight Models could be after another license to make a new range. Apparently this license could be DC Comics. So we could expect models for Batman, Superman and all the other DC folks...

- And one interesting. It has been said that KM could be developing or about to launch a wargame set in the Star Wars universe, to use their 30 mm. range. Some people says that could be the Clone Wars, so this would explain the Separatist Droid Army that we could see last month...

I hope this could be interesting, and excuse my bad english, i hope was understandable enough...

Cheers

Hello there!

More News and info about Knight Models:

This weekend has taken place the II Concurso de Modelismo Estático de Leganés, in Madrid, Spain. In this show there was a stand of Knight Models, where there were showed some previews and interesting stuff.
I have to say clearly, I didn't attend to this show, but i have sought all i can find about it in the different spanish forums and websites, so i can post the info here... It's important to say this, because all the images below belong to their authors and websites, i only post them to spread the information

Like i said previously in this thread, it had been said that KM was behind a new license. Well this is CONFIRMED. What's more, not only one, but TWO new licenses for another two ranges of collectors models for this brand. They are:

- DC Comics.

and

- The Lord of the Rings (movies).

And one pic to prove all this:

- General view of the new stuff:

And, if somebody would like to see them, in the following links, closer pics of the models, text it's in spanish, but you only have to click on the images to watch them, i have all together there so it's easier

- Boromir, for the new LOTR licensed range: http://tabladelavarwargames.blogspot.com/2012/03/knight-models-el-senor-de-los-anillos.html

- Superman, Lex Luthor, The Joker and Robin for the new DC Comics licensed range: http://tabladelavarwargames.blogspot.com/2012/03/knight-models-espectaculares-noticias.html

As you can see, all those models are waiting for approval of the companies, so they can change a little from these to the actual released models. However i think they are so cool that DC will undoubtedly approve them. Or at least they should do it!

On the other hand, there isn't any word yet about the Star Wars wargame, i'll keep searching info about it to bring all the rumours and info here, i think if that is confirmed could be really interesting for a number of people.

I hope this could be interesting

Cheers!

What is it with the necks? Lex Luthor, long neck. superman, off the shoulder outfit.

Best one of the bunch. Joker. I shall so be getting that one! Shirt will be a PITA to paint, but what the hey. Maybe they'll do a transfer for it.

It'll take Marilyn Monroe, and Lao-Tzu, and Einstein, and Morobuto, and Buddy Holly, and Aristophanes…then all of this…all of this…was for nothing. Unless we go to the stars." Well if you were thinking on me, no, sadly, for make it clear: I didn't work for any miniatures company. I'm only a hobbyist who think the job of some companies is so cool that I must share it with as many people as I can! Like in this case! Only for the love of it

However i think KM have had some issues with work oversaturation in the past. It could be the same in this case. They really are a small company, formed by 5 or 7 people, i think... So if i were you, i would try again. I found this email address, besides the one they have on their website, in case you would like to try: atencionalcliente@knightmodels.com
