It is. I have so many soldiers and tanks yet!

when it comes to soldiers...oh boy... i have about fourty watzone soldiers collecting dust...and then millions of catachans, mordians, cadians...and about 20 ratlings too...in fact i don´t need to buy me any soldiers anymore^^ but it is like eating chips really... you never get full^^

Yeah, three sets of Greatcoats, Vostroyans(4th set), cadians with and without Tau like helms, catachans, Valhallans, some Necromunda,VOID, and Warzone of my own collected troops to fill the infantry side.

och that is a massive to do list^^ and then your big backlist of leman russes still on top^^

only to be fully seen when zooming in! but i see now the camo is quite a tideous work to do...i have by the way still a bit of a problem with the handgun of the second to the right guy on the last pic... that gun looks akward... any way you could do something about it to make it look less drill like and more like a true weapon?

I may have to drill the barrel and add say a muzzle extender or "silencer" on it, but it is the Medics' weapon. More for delivering the

silencer muzzle/ muffler would be a nice idea... the main issue i have is with the round object just under the barrel...maybe if you could make it look like more of a mag of this kind of gun:

that long mag would look quite good on it...the mauser is by the way a good weapon choice for russian themed armies...they too used that design...iirc

Or a knock off version as many things Russia used early wars were copies from foreign designs mainly French and American, with others tossed in.So if i find a straight clip somewhere, I could cut and pin a new one to replace that drum, but drums usually hold more rounds than straights.

well the thing is it loks as your current drum mag is facing the wrong dircetion as usual drums do...normally they face onwards, yours looks sideways to me...more like a cam...the old ones

That magazine drum is reminding me less of Russian and more french style of long ago. I could not find the design online, so it is very obscured design.

ok i am a bit not sold on the green masks....from my own knowledge russians had a more greyish colored gasmask style but as i myself wore a green mask...so i thinkit will fit the bill... beside a wash later on will bring them to full swing....i would suggest there a devlan mud wash by the way.. that brownish stuff could very well help make a real feal about them...

True, the wash will fix a lot of the things on the men.

I do recall an unpopular French MG that had it's ammo set like the old movie cameras it tended to jam a lot of the time.

er... no... there were a bunch of crappy guns in fallaout tactics... all of the heavy artillery nature... machineguns the lot... chineese and WWI ones... some i only came to know through this game...

I like the painting style but am confused at the color agreement. If the primary color is urban camo, I don't understand the drab green everything else. I would think black or a noticeably darker shade of gray or bluish slate would "fit" better?

Not going to 2nd guess your paint scheme, but I get into it more if I understood it better.

All a part of beaurocratic snafu thing. I have the konfederacy made up of several planets, each supplies what they can, and the makers for their helmets and armor make them in O.D Green rather than grey, the Spetznats get black armor with grey splinter patterns as that was a specific order. The coats and much of the uniforms are urban/Mountain/winter camo and the result is the mix you see. The Arkeletsyans make their own gear and hence the armor for them will be the dark Adeptus Battle Grey.And their coats will have the camo.

Just a few, and only one with the face totally uncovered I used and that was the Vox man for the Lt.

Hey shazza , me old mucker That meat shield looks amazing mate, i dont think i have seen many of your ig guys before.. definitely sits well with your Armour . The colour is very naturalistic. Any chance of seeing a few shots next to your behemoths ?

Yeah, but that was why I got re-chargeable ones! it has saved me much over the long haul. but more pics later when I am awake and able to take ' em!

Hey shaz , love the shots , The grunts sheltering behind the tanks , is really quite realistic ,and shows you know your stuff regarding tank tactics, not that anyone would doubt the tank master ;-) , The pics are like a mini diorama , you should really make a nice board for them and some suitably ruinous buildings. Thanks for sharing matey , its cool to see all those iG boys , They have a valhallan look to them , now i think about it , great work all round matey. The tanks and infantry loo great together.
