Just realised. Raptors, if you want these, please provide the coords. (Yes I know where they are, but it makes my job easier when the time comes). Plus it confirms you want them, not just considering them.

If they wanted the museum underwater would it be possible if it were combined with Arcadia?

There's sort of a WIP dome on one side of the garden that can be used as the connection point if possible. The other side has the "vault", but it can also be changed into a connection point if it's a better side for it. It's not much of an underwater city anyway.

Sounds good.
My idea was to have a large underwater complex, built around the museum, so adding Arcadia would be a great idea.

For clarification I meant if it makes it possible to place the museum deeper underwater rather than having it restricted to somewhat shallow water due to its design if it were connected to Arcadia.

If you could plop it down in a or plains at least 2000 squares away from the spawn that would be great.

Sorry no. It takes effort to build structures deep underwater, and the museum was not built deep underwater. I should know, I helped with most of the roof.

The museum will retain its same elevation.

That is if it gets copied at all, no-one has provided co-ords for it yet. Still 11 days to go though.

I know that the Temple Of Khorne was griefed, but what's going to happen to it now? Nothing seems to have happened since, and I wouldn't mind having that in the new world (albeit with a new altar). If I'd ever seen the creator, I'd ask, but... I'd maintain it if it were bought in.

I'm considering building a bigger and better temple of khorne (and indeed one for each of the gods) in the new server after the manor so unless forbes wants it to be moved it is probably not needed.

But could I request it anyway? And if not, can I have the contents of the various chests?

You could request it sure, however whatever is in the chests does not belong to you.

Ok, I would like to save:

The Museum:
1822x
-726z

1777x
-791z

Arcadia:
1188x
-497y

Gooda's Hall: (PM Permission From Gooda Pending)
-497x
-290y

As for terrain, I would like a mountain range (Big enough for gooda's) next to an ocean.
Arcadia will be at the bottom, the museum above it sunk to the maximum depth you will allow.
Thanks!

Are you moving stuff over yet?

If so, and you have not yet moved mine.

Can I request that it be placed super far away from the spawn?

If you have already moved it then nevermind.

I don't think the move will even begin until Minecraft1.0 comes out. The Beta1.9 Seed may not be the same as the actual Minecraft1.0 seed, so until the actual game comes out, the world is still not certain.

If they do release a 1.0 release candidate, any coords from 1.9pre5 should be double-checked to see if things have changed or not. However, they have had a "feature freeze" and I don't think there have been any biome bugfixes, so the world generation should still be quite similar if not exactly the same. But it can't hurt to be thorough.

If I'm right in thinking that the Manor and Brandywine will both be moved, I'm not worried about having anything else copied over. I'm moving what stuff I have left elsewhere to those places.

A location for the manor is still relatively problematic, have you seen any large plains dark?

I haven't explored the 1.9 world much since I went looking for a snow biome and to check the coords you gave me. However, I'm sure there will be one somewhere. It seems it's not just the ocean biomes that can get really large, the snow biome I found was massive.

However, even if there isn't a plains biome in a suitable place for you, bear in mind that copying the manor's grounds will effectively create plenty of flat terrain. So it could go in anything from a hilly biome (not mountains) to a pine forest, to a swamp. Personally I would recommend a pine forest, as once you fell the trees, it will be mostly flat.

The grass would be wrong though.

I would be fine with a forest biome but I would strongly prefer plains.

Precisely!

A medium-wood forest would be a decent colour too.
