I am sorry fanboys but it does not offer me the fun i do with halo. I love the corny grenades of doom. I also love the halo engine.

BF3 is a better game, the campaign is short. But they were too busy making the multiplayer available to 64 players. not just 16. BF3, offers more to me than COD. Oh look cool killstreaks. That wasn't fun in the original. In Halo when ever someone was on a killing streak i would grab my shotty and my pistol and go kick some arse.

I love how the kid is equating "MOST ANTICIPATED GAME EVER" and sales numbers with a good game...

I found this review hilarious on Metacritic, who gave the game an 8.

If you are a fan of fast-paced shooters, and/or enjoyed MW2, you'll like this game. Haters gonna hate, but the fact is that the Call of Duty franchise does not make GOOD games, they make FUN games, which is why I play games.

then why give it an 8? I mean crackdown 2 was a fun game. But a major disappointment compared to crackdown.

It is very fun for mindless big bangs and multiplayer. I might like it more than others because my mw2 disc got scratched and would always freaze after an online game. I really like to play the multiplayer, and in comparison to BF3, I like it better. I have played BF3 and it did not float my boat. MW3 is definetly my choice.

It really comes down to preference in the COD vs BF debate. And trust me, if you had played MW2 as much as me and half my friends did then MW3 might seem a bit old by now haha

I finally got around to playing this game... multiplayer at least. It was fun. I like the matching system... easy to get in a game. I might be playing this more than BF3 only because of ease of getting in a game.

Is this the first Call of Duty game you've played in a while?

Last CoD game I played was Black Ops multiplayer when it was released... played that for a tiny bit... prior to that I fooled around a little with single player on MW2 and before that half of the campaign for CoD4:MW.

Just wondering, because from what I remember of playing MW3, the multiplayer matchmaking was just like it was in every COD game from COD4 to now.

I was being a smartarse but i do agree with the sentiment. I really like Tetris. It never lets me down.

I like MW3.

It's not a MW2 expansion pack, but even if it was I'd like it since I quite enjoyed MW2.

Oh, and Tetris is in my top 5 favorite games ever. Popularity doesn't always indicate quality, but sometimes it does. Don't make me bring up Thriller.

Yes I am in the farm land af PA and our internet connection is not always good, With MW2 it took a while to join a game. With MW3, it takes about 15 seconds every time. and it matches your ping acordingly now.

Anyone else getting wicked bad lag in games......

My connection is fine with every game I play, but when I go online for MW3, I jump and skip across the map because the lag is terrible........

I've played MW2 regularly since it's release two years ago with the same group of friends. We moved to Black Ops for a bit, but it's not quite the same. There's 8 of us. Only 1 bought MW3; so we could all at least try it out. We confirmed it was simply MW2 map pack + small patch. No compulsion to buy it since I already own and enjoy MW2.

I find it to be alot worse in MW3, in Black Ops I can usually break out after 1 or 2 deaths, MW2 Iv hardly been spawn killed unless its by noob tube. Mw3 has been the worst since I have actually ragequit due to spawn killing.

Well, I mean, getting spawn killed sucks, but turnabout is fair play.

Usually I try to but I cant since when I spawn I die :/.

Heres a quick comparison of Black Ops and MW3 in a standard team deathmatch.

MW3
Connection: Good(3 Bars)
Kills:5
Deaths:15

Black Ops
Connection:Bad(1 Bar)
Kills:16
Deaths:17

Now before anybody says something along the lines of your classes must be different then no they aren't, both play exactly the same way, my gameplay is still the same. If taking the skill of the other players into consideration then MW3 shouldn't be that bad, most of the people Iv played against dont even have a prestige level.

My KD is better in MW3 than Black Ops. The perk system is a little bit different though, maybe you just haven't gotten the hang of it yet. I know I haven't.

In Black Ops I usually ran Ghost Pro, Sleight of Hand Pro and Second Chance Pro. In MW3 all of the bonuses of Ghost and Sleight of Hand are spread across something like 4 different perks!

The majority of people haven't prestiged yet, since the game is so new. Also, most of the people that have prestiged have either A: done nothing but play the game since it came out or B: Used all of those Double XP coupons from various sodas and snack foods.
