Man there's alot of folks with really annoying neighbors.

I live in what some folks refer to as the inner-city or the Ghetto (not my favorite term). I prefer to call it home. Drug dealing happens (one block over mostly, we've got a few neighbors who call the police) I've been broken into, booming car stereos, a man was shot to death in my alley, etc, etc.

Yet, I thank my lucky stars that I don't live in a party-college town and have to contend every night with drunken teens, loud music late (after 9 or 10 we call the cops and the music goes away). I guess it's just what you are (or get) used to?

There is a convoy of idiots in Monaros, WRXs and other 'make stupid people go fast' cars that drive up and down the road mine comes off. Weird thing is they do it every Saturday night, between 9.30 and 10.00. For pond scum, they keep a very tight schedule.

I used to live in a very quiet neighbourhood, and would sometimes hear a story about someone who knew someone who had a house in their street broken into, but that was about it. Since I moved in with my fiance though, it's been a lot more interesting, in the Chinese sense of the word. Nothing on what you guy's have posted, mind you.

3 14-15 year olds on bikes tried to steal my phone the other day.

One of them stopped me and asked what the time was. Being me, I instantly pulled out my phone to tell him the time, to be helpful.

His mates came flying down the hill and tried to grab the phone out of my hands, but failed. They kept going until the bottom of the hill (well out of range) and stopped to give me the finger. They legged it when I started walking towards them.

I fail to understand the mentality that that requires. "You didn't let me steal your phone so you're a "

It made me so angry, I hate people like that.

Asking for the time is a really common preamble to mugging someone. I've had that tried on me a few times.

Yeah, I'll be wary of that one the next time! I've only recently moved to Edinburgh, I grew up in a small village in the Highlands near fort william, and noone had ever tried something like that on me before, so it caught me by surprise!

My area's generally good to be honest. However there have been a few drug dealing incidences in my school. Apparently some kids were sneaking marijuana into school in milkshake bottles. =P

aahhhh these idiots...I call them "Fast and Furious Nut Sweat" being they need wash their hair. Dirty greasy looking Chavs I own a Jeep Wrangler, Mistibishi Spyder, and two 83' 5.0 Mustangs. A his and her set....muscle cars pony style...I out do them everytime being their short throws. Slarq...you rock lol.

A friend of mine had this problem a couple of weeks ago, but it was his laptop bag, I saw the whole thing. They failed pretty badly, but not before one of them fell off his bike and faceplanted against the road.

The worrying part is, I'm seventeen, and I have friends who go to the school that the girl goes to, and this school has it's own creche because of how many of the girls have children.

As for obnoxious "youth" that shoot christmas rockets at peoples windows etc what's the problem. There were issues around here of this kind but these days it´s pretty quiet and peaceful and nobody dares to shoot any rockets nearby.

The solution, well I´ll give you a hint. It starts with "BB" and ends with "gun" and works gakking wonders.

Spring loading paintball guns are a good alternative, worked for me at least

Real lead pellet BB versions work much much better and cause a serene and peaceful neighbourhood with zero moped driving or firework shooting idiots.

Paintball grenade into the biggest mob?

Nope, nothing like that, the thing is not to get caught.
You can clearly see paintballs or paint grenades going out a window and then you get the law knocking or even worse, the same brats now know who to screw with.

It´s more effective when nobody can see nor hear what the hell it was that hurts so much all the time.
