Megaforces are all plastic. There was a metal bonus figure in the Eldar Army Box... but that was an Archon.

The Bonesinger was a GW Web Exclusive, sold through the GW website.

I’ve had a few Holy Grails with other collecting hobbies of mine but not anything serious with wargaming.

My last Holy Grail mission for wargamming was trying to track down a full squad of OOP Satyxis Raiders for Warmachine (never could track them down). I have pretty much given up on this quest in order to work on more obtainable goals (like my pre heresy “style” army made from non GW bits).

You're right, it was direct only, for some reason I thought it was the army box bonus.

Though I don't think the Eldar army box bonus was an Archon...

I picked up the yellow compilation book for 4 USD. The one with the grey knight, eldar, and genestealers rules? And with the Leman Russ story haha
SO Awesome.

My grail would probably beeeeeeeeee, a DKoK army, or some original genestealer cultists.

The old dark eldar archon; the one with his face being a fethed up piece of....face? I can get it near my house, but everytime I go,I remember my skills at painting metal.... >_<

Oh and the metal daemon prince from GW but in resin.

I have to say my Grail is the Chaos Dwarf Juggernought. I've seen them on eBay, and even bid a few times. But they always seem to go for $1200.00+(My max bid was 1000.00).
Other then that, I'd really like to have the Armour Caste Reaver Titan. I hope to find one with all the weapons, and hasn't been droped.

I don't even KNOW anymore.

Any of the Armorcast titans, really - but the Gargant especially.

What I REALLY want is the old, old unofficial "Cerebus the Aardvark" miniature made by Citadel. I never seem to be in the right place at the right time to get one.

It is an oath we honour. Which I see on ebay from time to time but never for under $100 (well I did see it go for $30 once but damnit I didn't bid!).

What other holy grails are people seeking?

I have all of the Rogue Trader books.

I have all of the 3rd edition WFB books.

I have all of the original WFRP books.

I have every D&D book from original boxed sets up through 3rd edition.

I've given away more of the old 40K and Fantasy models than most of the people on this site have owned. Combined.

I have GW's original Balrog still in it's original box.

I had all of the Armorcast 40K stuff. Sold them, they weren't anything special.

I still have like 4of the original Ork Battlewagon.

I'm going to give 3 of the original Land Raiders to a friend for Christmas.

I have 5 of the Games Day Dark Elf War Hydra and a unit of 30 of the GD Dark Elf Executioners. To go with my all Aly Morrison Dark Elf army.

I have Mighty Fortress. I have the old Grenadier castle.

I have a Bonesinger.

I have something like 200 ROC Era Chaos Warriors and 200 ROC era Chaos Renegades. and 200+ of the ROC Era Beastmen.

I'm generally unimpressed with this thread. Somebody roll out something I haven't seen before.

How about some manners? If you own everything GW has ever made maybe you need to start collecting other things maybe?

And whats wrong with having the CA-BotA as a holy grail? It's one of the hardest RT-era books to find in print. I've had a bitch of a time tring to find one around here and not a inflated jacked-up Feebay auction one.

The Book of the Astronomicon. I don't think it even real. I already have several copies of space crusade and mission dreadnought, but I'd take Advance Space Crusade and Eldar Attack. The original ork books: Freebootaz and 'Ere We Go, plus all the second edition codexs. While the figures might be better now, the games we better back then.

Hadn't really thought of it before. I'd guess maybe one of these, I don't really think I have one.

This one is either never around or about $50 more than the others due to its metallic coating, which I intend to paint anyway due to the marks left where they separate from the frame.

Ok I have to ask...what the heck are those? And don't say japanese anime women you ...

PS, not_u, is that the Gold Zeta that came out around the time they redid zeta? I got the white amoro one with pink stickers. It's one awsome kit.

I guess another holy grail would be a 1/60 Perfect grade Zeta or Zaku. I would also love to get my hands on the Yamato 1/3000 scale Macross from 'Do you remember love'.

@Mike

They are fictional magazines ( hmm how do i describe it... as i dont know a single magazine that does this )

Each issue is created as if its created in that ( Aria ) world.
The "ads" are all made up e.g antigravity scooters.
The contents, the locations, are all created as if earth doesn't exist.

Each issue features "Udine" are famous female gondoliers each representing their company ?

I recently found out gondoliers on earth are all male o_-

anyways Aria is Mars in the far future terraformed. The extra water turned the planet into some sort of neo venezia .

Also each issue comes with a free toy, and they combine into Aria Company doll house @.@

As I have suspected for many years, the Japanese are light years ahead of us.

Sounds rather interesting Luna, hope you have good luck finding them =o]
