Can I second skalk's comments, the guardsmen are excellent. I particularly like the Minotaur with the power weapon. The mask and gas tank look excellent, I just wish I could get my gs work to look that smooth.

Finished one of the Minatour bezerkers a few minutes ago. I am proud of the end result, though there are two more of them to paint, ill start them in a few minutes. Khorne will be proud, very proud.
They are the doom bulls of khorne!

First platoon is done, filled with my new ogryn beserkers and 2 more vehicles. My first refined chimera is done, a little more of my camo scheme integrated into my armor. I really don't enjoy painting armored vehicles, but today, it was different. I was looking at some other threads and thought, wow my tanks aren't good so I had to change that. I grabbed my tanks after finishing my beserkers and did some quick work to fix them up and now I'm happy with them.
Here is my newest stuff from today.

First update of the new year!
Happy new year and may you all enjoy khornes blessing! Well I started my Granite Pattern Gryphon. Not a big thing for me as I am not very good at painting vehicles yet, I tried.
Picture update really, I'm a little hammered...
Remember, I just started it, its not finished. Critique would be very much appreciated.

Im new to dakka and i have to say im gonna subscribe to this. Yours using alot of the ideas i had myself for my own Chaos Army which would be led by my alpha legion marines and have traitor guard as well. The minotaur idea is great im thinking of maybe some weird troll conversions for my own "ogryns" anyway keep it up it all looks great.

I don't know how I missed your updates until now. So much going on!
The Doom Bulls of Khorne look incredible and the paintjob / modeling makes them look like the belong to your army without question. The CCW they carry are impressive and no doubt terrifying to any foe they face.
The completed tanks look awesome and I really like the smaller details like the grit and the X'd out Imperial icons.
The Griffon is looking good paint wise, but for some reason I just don't like it. I think it is because the gun is recessed inside the body of the vehicle. I think it needs to be elevated a but, at least w/ the barrel sticking out and above the hull. Not a lot, but at least a bit.
Looking forward to the next update!

NEVER BLOW OFF COMMISIONS KIDS, PROCRASTINATION IS NOT A GOOD IDEA.
Now that I say that here is one of the commisions I'm working on for free as a reputation sort of deal and the model is one big old mean mother trukker.

It's been a while for updates on my part as I'm usually posting once or twice a day when I get on a roll, but I've been very busy with my personal life. My car had its tire come off, I also had a lot of commisions to do as well as family related things.
Now that I have some time, I will post some new developments in my painting. I met a fellow painter yesterday who inspired me greatly, pushing me to great lengths to take my time while painting and to go that extra step to make them that much better. I also found massive vodoo to be quite the inspiration for my work and their guides are fantastic for all things paint related.
Also stopped gettin models I needed essentially. I have all the guardsmen I need and my chaos army is roughly half a battle company, so I am ok in that department. I went along and am now getting models I think i will enjoy painting. I bought a box of lootas and a dark eldar snake man, the fine cast one because I like the model.
Not much progress on my guard except for my first use of wet blending on a model, so here are the pictures.

Started the other half of my guard, the armored company. All of my footguard are done as far as assembly is concerned and most of them are on their way to being painted. I've also been making random purchases of models and units ive always liked that I never saw myself being good enough to even remotely paint well, but now I think I can. It took me one day to understand how to do wet blending and lighting realistically speaking from a top vantage point. I also got into new ranges or paint! Now I'm using p3 and valejo paints!
As far as the main part of my chaos army, im about 10% done with it that's being optimistic though I'm afraid.
Now for my update I only have two models to show as I have been sick today and my painting has been focused on characters, well painted with a whole new range of techniques!
The first is Ripper, a khorne skull taker. He is my marbo. Though not done, he is a test for my flesh painting, essential for my second platoon.
The other model is my commander for the Granite First Armor, once the pdf tank division, he felt that the eclesiarchy was taking advantage of the people of Granite and thought that the emperor did not want these greedy exploitive priests to hold the planet back and oppress the populace. He commands a large column of russ tanks and commands it from his command tank, the Princep. It is a Leman Russ Executioner, covered in battle damage and covered in supplies for any situation. His name is Commander Halik.

Played some fantasy yesterday, used my dwarves and some damage was done to my enemies. It ended as a tie, a 2 v 2 doesn't end well when its 1500 points a person. My deathstar blob of hammerers took a heavy hit from lead belchers, but it was a fun game.
As far as my guard goes, they are a slow wip at this point. Been busy and haven't pained much, but what I have painted has been very focused and detailed. My newest guardsman I finished was my demo charge thrower. He's from second platoon with the pine forest scheme. Now with him, I used a lot more vallajo this time and p3 then I've ever used before. I think it came out pretty well, what do you think?

The Camo scheme is really intense and well done. Wow. Talk about fiddly detail... but so worth it. Great job!
