The Emperor Protects - the Lectitio Divinitatus, the original source of the Imperial Creed, the spread of which was actively suppressed by the Legions prior to the Heresy. After that, well, there were other, more important, concerns to take care off, and the Chapters made no effort to suppress the growing strength of the Imperial Cult.

Because they have no authority over them, only when they directly breach Imperial Edicts on heretical practices and even then, they are reluctant to get involved.

Again, it was not the Space Marines' job to enforce the Imperial Truth, that fell to the Ecclesiarchy.

The enforcers of the Imperial Truth were the Imperial Iterators, but most if not all were killed by the traitors during the Heresy, so almost no one was left to oppose the rise of the Imperial Cult.

I should have left him there. He had served his purpose. He owed me nothing - yet he gave himself to me willingly. Why? I know not. He is nothing more than a pathetic human. An inferior race. A mon-keigh. But still I broke off my wings so that I might carry him easier. I took him from that place, into the snowstorm where our tracks will not be found. He is heavy. And he is dying. And he is slowing me down. But I will save him. Why? I know not. He is still warm. I can feel his blood ebbing across me. For every beat of his heart, another, slight spill of heat. The heat blows away on the winter wind. His blood is still warm. But fading. And I have spilled scarlet myself. The snow laps greedily at our footsteps and our lifeblood, covering them without a trace as we fade away.

Which is why it fell to the Ecclesiarchy to straighten it all up.

And why her opinion matters, when we know the real truth? We have the books, we know what Emperor was alike and how are his servants in 41'st millennium.

I am just saying that a lot of people do a lot of things in Emprah's name and he can't be responsible for all of them.

My math is not wrong, see Russian elections. Their math was perfect.

And when people here post something from cannon I take them for their word until proven otherwise, Except for things that I know cannot be true or that are in conflict with something I ask for source. I didn't read anything from HH except Lexicanum articles, and I already said that I read that on this forum and posted that. I never said that I read it in the book.

The moment the Emperor returns and confronts the High Lords, the first thing He will say is, "I am disappoint.". And the Sisters are a complete failure to His Majesty's ideals.

Exactly.

The Emperor had a plan. A plan that he never bothered to explain, or even admitted EXISTED. The Emperor had a plan, but he refused to ever tell anyone about the plan, because the plan involved denying that the plan had ever been necessary and killing anyone who said different. The Emperor had a plan, and he expected his sons to trust him, implicitly, without questioning, even when he did inexplicable and flat-out harmful things, and then refused to answer for them.

In short, the Emperor was an idiot.

Because that is what my entire post was about? That if we take it from her view, it makes sense why she sees the Emperor as a weak man. We know she's wrong, but she doesn't.

No he can't.

Of course your math is completely correct. 140% now = 100%. Right.

Well unfortunately, it's not canon until you have direct evidence that it is, so the Edicts of Nikaea were never amended until you show us a quote from a canonical source that they were.

Index Astartes III states that Librarians were present and active during the Siege of Terra, implying that the Edicts were amended. And the Emperor wasn't weak minded. Rather, too optimistic. Apparently, after the Drop Site Massacre, the Emperor brooded over HIS failure regarding the Primarchs. It means that He recognized His own mistakes, something a weak-minded fool could never do. That's even why He ordered Malcador to form the Inquisition.

The conclusion of that thread was it is because Librarians still serve the Marine Chapters and santioned psykers seving the Imeprial Guard, even all Inquisitors are psykers. All we know is that the Edicts were probably amended, but when and whom (the Emperor, Malcador, Guilliman) has yet to be revealed. I'm betting on the first two, since the Grey Knights were founded during the Heresy, and they're all psykers.

No, we don't know that at all. All we know is that psykers were banned and now the Imperium use them. We could assume that the Edicts were amended but as we have no evidence to support that, we have to presume that the Edicts are simply being ignored.

The Grey Knights were created to battle Chaos and answer only to the Emperor, no edict or law can stop them.

That is true, but they would be become boring without their enemies, or their allies.

The Emperor doesn't have a GKs unshakable faith in the Emperor which is....basically himself?

Merchandise wise yes, but fluff-wise? Absolutely not.

It is in fact the Imperial Guard who win most of humanity's engagements and wars. Space Marines seem present in every battle because GW write about the massive battles that if lost, bad bad things would happen. So naturally, Space Marines will be present to assist and stop said bad bad things from happening.

By the same logic, since Space Marines (Codex: SM states that Chapter Masters answer directly to the Emperor) and the Inquisition answer only to the Emperor and themselves, then the Edicts and Imperial Law have no hold on them either.
