We were once so close to heaven, St. Peter came out and gave us medals; declaring us "The nicest of the damned".

“Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'”

When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

I've tried to find some new music, but my tastes are semi fickle. Some of the newer bands that are tolerable. I have a gf that isnt down with Merciful fate and the like, so sometimes I have to rock some softer metal...but still metal so this is the car list.

All that remain...some of it is ok..some kinda too soft, but i jam it in the car without too much biatching.

I like the first two trivium album, but the new ones im not cool with.Love this version of the vid, makes me laugh my ass off as its so sounds like what hes saying.

Not new but still good Machine head.

Good old Sword, some of their stuff is ok.

Some Mudvayne is good, I like this one.

As in the whole 'L.D.50' album!!

The song 'Dig' is what got me into playing bass.

I'm a fan of all spectrum's of Metal INCLUDING Metalcore/Deathcore e.g 'Suicide Silence' & 'Job For A Cowboy'.
Bollox to that "everyone who listens to that is a poser" bs. IMOH everyone who says you MUST love 'Black Sabbath' & 'Iron Maiden' to be a real metal fan are just douches.

On a lighter note, although not just strictly metal (they incorporate too many genres to truly define them) one of the greatest bands I have ever listened to is 'Dog Fashion Disco'.
I cannot praise the awesomeness of this band (and the 'reformation' a.k.a Polkadot Cadaver) enough!

I'm not a huge fan of deathcore, but I do love me some Winds of Plague.

Not gonna imbed it due to language... while it's all growled/roared/screamed, I think some of it's pretty clear.

I saw Winds of Plague a good few months back when they were touring with 'Iwrestledabearonce', 'War From A Harlots Mouth' and 'Emmure'. Such a great show and I got to meet alot of the bands.
