Pulsating Possessed Chaos Marine

I have to say, i would love to see Gun Heads given movie treatment. There is no sight of a marine in it.. Guardsmen vs Orks. Adeptus Mechanicus, And tanks. Lots and lots of Tanks. And a baneblade.

A good one would be 15 hours. It's one of the ones that I can see being a stand alone. It doesn't speak to the bigger universe as much.

The Ravenor omnibus I believe would be by far the most approachable for a larger audience, and the easiest to get good talent interested in, as the characters all have a significant amount of depth and the story is more original and distinctive than almost any other. Ravenor working together at the end with his archenemy and then hunting him down had one of the most unique feelings of any ending to any story I've read. That said, Ravenor could not have a monotone vox-voice, and the whole "I'm dedicated to Chaos but want to stop Slyte" thing would have to be changed. Also, the entire opening scene from the first book would have to be scrapped for something a lot less generic and similar to all those other "oh noes the badguy lived with horrible burns!" pieces of garbage.

I always thought First and Only would be good for making into a film. Humans are the core. Chaos is the big enemy, but the story doesn't get too much into the details about Chaos. They're the bad guys, they're evil and twisted, and occasionally they have a monster. It has a very clear story, with some nice personal parts relating to the main character concerning him battling with memories of his father, while tying it into the greater story, a bit of intrigue with the Jantine and Dravere, and some great set peice battles. I wish they wouldn't try to explain the 40k universe at the start. I don't know why they tried with Ultramaines, or why people think it's even necessary. Look at the great sci fi movies that started a series of movies, like A New Hope or Alien. They just plonk the viewer into the thick of it (though A New Hope did explain the situation, but not the overall story), and let them come to their own conclusions. Sure 40k is in a different place - it has a massive wealth of background to draw on, but it doesn't need to be explained. Make a good, non-confusing storyline and let people enjoy the ride. That will get people to look into the source material far better.
