Like you said just getting them to burn a summoner is a successful enough gank as it gives the lane a brief advantage. Think of Udyr with three flashes and Ali's headbutt in exchange for his stun.

Trundle has some extreme advantages over lee sin. He distinctly hits harder for one, he is generally tougher as well, with reduced CC effects and the ability to leech enemy's stats makes him very powerful and he can hound carries very well, which lee sin can also do, but trundle also has the stat draining, which basically gives him the ability to effectively kill even tanks, which lee sin cannot.

I found that trundle is hard to get used to. He needs a team to work with (which is the point of the game anyways) since he really cant harass like lee sin, and he lacks the leaping/teleporting ability of lee sin.

Try watching a trundle in the hands of a decent player! The kind of enemies that he can kill where others cannot is staggering.

Don't get me wrong, Trundle is quite good. It's just usually people put Lee on top due to his mobility which helps out his ganks, counter jungle and counter counter jungle. Trundle can do the same, but with a little more care put into his pillar placement. Skarner is also quite good for similar reasons as Trundle and probably one of if not the best counter jungler.

When I jungle, I seem to like to be able to get to the big stuff as early as Possible. Trundle for the Dragon in LoL, and Ursa for the Roshan in DOTA. For those of you unsavy, Roshan is basically Baron Nashor (Roshan, Nashor). And Ursa can also do it at level six.

I noticed that in the beta. Did Roshan exist in DOTA? Or is that DOTA II's playful jab at LoL?

Roshan was there, that's why it's called Nashor in LoL

A less subtle one being Rylai's Crystal Scepter.

I am under the impression that Ursa would kick Volibears ass. Anyone disagree?

See as I think Volibear is horrible, no.

And maybe I'm wrong but am I the only one who thinks Ursa is the DotA Udyr? Are all the DotA II champs from DotA or are some of them new? First thing I noticed about Juggernaut was "Garen" but I know he's from DotA. And Drow reminds me of Ashe (but then so does Windrunner). What about the rest of DotA II's cast? Are all these characters from DotA or are some of them new?

To save you from a certain wrath, everything in LoL is a copy of DotA, as DOTA came out several years before LoL. While some characters from LoL stole abilities from DotA characters, none of them are exact copies. Yi is mostly like Juggernaught in feel, and Garen is like Sven or Axe. Ashe is actually three characters put together: Drow Ranger (Slow shots), Mirana (Ashe's Ult is one of her normal skills), and Beastmaster (Summons a Hawk that does nothing but scout around). Ursa is actually alot like Mordekaiser; Incredibly easy to kite, but god help you if you stand next to him.

Every character in DotA 2 is from DotA, though not all DotA characters are in DotA 2 yet.

Oh I figured that, but since I've never played DotA and only LoL things in my head get reversed somewhat, so I think "he reminds me of Udyr" even if logic would say that Udyr is based on him etc etc.

The funniest thing about this video is that it is an actual guide.
