Mostly, on my phone.

That face is really nice, almost iridescent blue. Great job man.

Thanks guys!

The model was primed white, while fully assembled I realized that the head was getting in the way, so I popped it off lol. I had painted the head and body with hawk turquoise and washed it with PP's Flesh Wash, which gets into the cracks of a model's flesh SO MUCH BETTER than any GW wash. So with a thin layer of hawk turquoise, the oils in my fingers didn't have much paint to go through, so it was quite the happy accident that it turnout out the way it did. Thanks for the positive comments guys, I need to finish basing him this week

Wow... it's almost been two months since any major update... One thing of note: I have gotten very far from the original scope of this blog, but I don't receive enough traffic to warrant it (since I'm not painting any major GW games, and because of my infrequent updates)...

So, I've been painting up some Malifaux figs recently, and I thought that I would share my progress... I still am terrible at painting eyes, so there is a good chance I'll never see the eyes painted on these models..

First up is Pandora. She's recently become one of my favorite masters in Malifaux, she's incredibly strong, but at the same time her strength comes from the tricks she plays.

Then from her crew we have Baby Kade. I need to darken down the yellow on his base some to match the yellow on some of my other neverborn models. But this does mark the first time I've been happy with a yellow besides just the GW yellow. As you can see, I've got a few other shades of the GW yellows... they work better than the vallejo ones IMO. And this is not to say that I like GW paints over all others, far from it... I'm just getting good results with the odd colors from GW paints, and sadly, not the other companies I bought from.

Then we have Nicodem, a model for a crew that I used about a year and a half ago, I primed him a long time ago, and just never painted him... I hate that vulture by the way... And I wasn't happy with ANY color I painted on Nicodem... sorry :(

Finally we have Mortimer the graverobber... I tried to use some weather powders on his boots and shovel, an effect I might give to Nicodem tonight to keep them cohesive. I actually like the paintjob on this model, unlike Nicodem. I took two pictures because the color is shown better in the first one, but the weathering effects is shown better in the second one.
