I know the Imperials aren't that stupid. I thought they could build them with inhibitors, like Centurions in Battlestar Galactica 2003.

Yeah, no, even if they did find an STC that could build these golems, the AdMech isn't about to start cranking out Geth, thinking it'll be better this time.

To take a twist on the topic, imagine if the Iron Warriors or the Dark Mechanicus got their hands on an STC... might be a nice plot twist and way to add some new Chaos fire power to the mix.

If they got an stc not alot would happen besides us getting lots of cool new toys to play with in the codecies

Considering the number of humans over the galaxy surely there would be millions of great minds such as Einstein who can just rediscover all of the lost knowledge of physics and what not.

Im not very learned in the ways of the AD mech and from what I hear they would just say all the Eiesteins are heretics and kill them?

1) Massive civil war, the Imperium is dragged in and then everything goes belly-up because neither side has a complete advantage over the other.
2) Massive shadow war, the Logicians slowly fight to take control of the Mechanicus and eventually help usher the Imperium into a new Golden Age...
