I am still holding out hope that a GW plastic flier/skimmer is still in the works for non BA/GKSM armies. /fingerscrossed
If not, I know some with get their feathers ruffled, but I will simply buy a SR, a CH extension kit, and convert the rest myself. As Ouze said, I am not paying ~$145 for a non superheavy model that is only AV12. Hell, a few dollars more and I could have a Fellblade!

It's FW meaning its only suppose to be useful to have fun. If you're looking for something advantageous you're probably approaching things the wrong way.
It's a simple enough model that if someone wants to use the rules they could relatively easily convert a Stormraven using one of the handfuls of aftermarket add-on kits and simply add the missiles and lascannons.
There is rumored to be a Stormhawk gunship being worked on by GW.... Though its supposed to be lighter.

I haven't had many resin pieces that thin and that long which weren't. And anyway, a little hot water usually does the trick (and since it's a box construction, it'll generally straighten itself out if you just reduce the defects a little). Aside from the bent sides it looks as if they're pretty well cast, I didn't see any significant defects, so that's good. the only problem is one anybody can fix in 5 minutes
