off topic but...
Humour when done intelligently (i.e. not the aforementioned t-shirt) is one the best things we have for shining a light on the ridiculousness of certain aspects of life, like you know killing 100,00 civilians on he testimony of a taxi driver or something. See Bill Hicks or Stewart Lee for example. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=81JEHIJP88Q#t=32s The intention of such jokes is often more important than the content, that t-shirt for example is there solely to shock, but compare that to the Bill Hicks joke "we know they have WMDs. How? Well we looked at the receipt." So yes we need comedy, and we need it to push the boundaries of "good taste."
my two cents.

He's generally pretty good about it if you catch him, and won't make a fuss, but you really have to watch what he's doing. Luckily I haven't had to play against him, but I've seen plenty of his shenanigans, and had to correct him on a couple of occasions.
This. Some people take the game a bit too seriously. Doesn't mean they're complete monsters, but hey, humans are human.
Yeah, Forget about rules or mistakes is possible. For my first couple of games i though Autocannons had a blast template.
No one corrected me on it though until i won my first game with nothing but AC

Okay here's the matchup (Yes I know this is a WHFB matchup) Dogs of War vs Wood Elves.
Wood elf player forgets his additional wood, has to be reminded about missed magic phases, is allowed to return to previous phases to carry out forgotten actions, eg magic-shooting-magic (again) to move the wood. Move-magic-shooting (Bugger forgot to move the archers forward)- move-shoot again.
Dogs of War player at end of time "It's a win, but what sort?"
Who marks his opponents as 'Good game' and who marks his opponents as 'Bad game' because they only got to play 4 turns?
Cheers

Is it possible he was just really, really, new? For the first year I played MtG, I'd forget to untap/upkeep/a few of my card's abilities at least twice a game.

Since I was part of that match it's kind of hard to answer that without giving away who was who.

(He also said all non private schools are terrible simply because they arent private schools and said that they are all bad, essentially insulting me right infront of me) Total tw*t. Heh. I've actually met someone like that a few years ago too. Total BNP supporter, believed the brits should control all of the world's affairs, and particularly wanted to exterminate the Arabs. He also hated warhammer. Yeah, he was a prick. Oh, and he was just a kid back then. Maybe 13-14 years I guess? To be honest, I wouldn't take what a 13-year-old ;says too seriously. If I had a quarter for every time I changed what I believe since I was thirteen, I could buy out GW and give the game back to the gamers.
It stands for British "National" party, but really it wants to say British Nazi Party, this is because of its principles and what it stands for.
They're not socialists though.
Socialism and Nazism are radically different things. I'm pretty sure I'm missing something here...
Anyway, the UKIP is pretty bad too, although not as bad as the BNP. We have our own BNP here in Sweden, the difference is that the Swedendemocrats are in the parliament here.
Nazi is short for the German word for National Socialist German Worker's Party, Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei
Funny thing is that the word "Nazi" is purely western in origin; the Nazis never called themselves Nazis, instead referring to themselves with the full name of their organization.
