Yup, and and at one point he ran into one of his ex "doctors" in a Wolverine comic, who Wolverine was supposed to kill. The guy would have been lucky if Wolverine got him instead. I bet he suffered. Moral of the story: don't feth with Erik Magnus Lehnsherr. Depending on what arc you read too, Wolverine and Captain America rescued Magneto as a child from one of the camps.

And to add to that I'm pretty sure Hal Jordan mentions some other Super Hero hit on him when that Super Hero was on the JLA. I can't remember his name now, but anyways some of the other GL's used to joke about it.
