And the grand total of my entire Ork collection comes to: 1.065,25. Euro or 1.341,37 Dollars if you prefer. Holy Sh*t

No problem. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the $2 for evey point bit.

The cost is certainly a lot. Its difficult to start a new 2000pt army and looks like you need to build it bit by bit if buying direct. Lucky the Grey Knights aren't going to cost me too much otherwise I probably wouldn't have started.

Yeah, but I like the real exorcist better. The FW one is pretty uninspiring. For Arbites, it might be more fitting though.

I have never needed to deploy the entire 4 Companies before, Only ever deployed them in companies and most of the time they are line defenders. Don't need pods if you are just holding positions.

So can we assume that an average sized army (1500-2000) is going to cost roughly $500-$800?
This hobby isn't cheap, but wow, I never realize how expensive it really was till I started looking at it like this.
This is of course not including hobby materials such as paints, tools, etc.
And of course this is assuming worst case of retail purchase with no discounts, second hand, scratch builds, etc.
All said and done, this is very enlightening.
