No probs, there will be room in there for expansion, again all the trays are created within the guidlines of the rule sets and likely maximum counts for tanks, etc.

Yes all our case prices include trays, and don't forget that they also include shipping too, no matter where you are located. The rest of the KR cases will be added this week too, once the Scourge are done - I have concentrated on the trays first and the cases will follow on shortly, as they follow the natural modular KR system for best storage.

What I would like to know is why I get a price of $60 for a half case and $57.99 for a full case. Using outside UK, EU and US shipping (rest of the world).

The cases are placeholders until the trays are completed and uploaded. The prices will be checked and corrected for the upload of all case variants.

KR - can we mix trays between sets?

What I mean is, as each tray has two halves can we have say a UCM dropship half and a PHR dropship half with two dropships of each.

Do you make trays to order and thus can just cut them or do you only run from stock?

Also can you explain thercontents of tray 30 please. First it was one card decks, now its two plus accessories. What has it got? Dice compartments? Holes for templates?


My reason for all this is because I am thinking of ordering and as trays are included saying no tray 30 please. i would like more flyers etc. Allowing for what I want to buy I will not be buying premium but separate ordering an aluminium 2KRU case with trays equivalent to a large set of UCM and PHR with no trasy 30's and two other trays instead, one full of UCM dropships the other split between PHR dropships and UCM fighters. A PH2+UC4 tray

Yes you can mix trays between sets, just list the ones you require when choosing a bespoke case. Certainly you can mix 2 halves, though I can't see a scenario where that would be needed (if you did so it won't be a stock item so allow extra time for it to be made). If you are filling 2 KRU, then you would have half with UCM and half with PHR - 2 stacks of trays in each case next to each other. That would also mean that you can easily take out just the PHR or just the UCM in the future if needed.

The PH30 tray evolved during discussion with David. There was the need for a card deck compartment from the start, but in order to accomdate the possibility of exactly what you desribe above the tray can hold 2 card decks (so you can have 2 armies in 1 case), or if you expand the decks there is room, and as one of the card deck compartments is slightly larger all round it covers the option of gamers using ard sleeves or deck boxes. The PH30 tray also has room for tape measue, dice , markes and other accessories too. I will have pics next week,

I will have to wait for the rules to be sure but I personally think a 2KRU case is best spent with no PH30 units and the space remaining used mostly for UCM. Braodly speaking PHR are like Marines and UCM are like Guard, guard being cheaper need more space.

Neat idea, but I would prefer to reserve my allocation of 'soft foam for miniatures' for miniatures. Cards can go in a box, I will need external carriage for the rulebook anyway, dice and cards can go with that.

All in all the PH30 to me means an opportunity to fill out on those things I don't think you have enough of, namely medium dropships. Your allocation contains enough of everything else IMHO.
All told I am tempted.

The cases are really nice, but at $60 per half case (instead of 25GBP), I will have to pass. For that amount, I would rather just double my mini purchases.

To give you an idea for half case sizes. This list shows the conversion to our local currency for prices for the different regions on the kr site

Bear in mind that all the prices on the KR website include postage and packing. Comparing a price for a product shipped locally by land in the UK (the GBP price), or one shiiped within the EU by airmail (the EUR price) with one shipped outside the EU by airmail (or Fedex depending on the product size) to South Africa (US$) is not comparing like with like. KR products are available from the majority of online and bricks and mortar retailers - http://krmulticase.com/about/storefinder.aspx, you can certainly shop around to find offers and good deals on international shipping from the UK.

Guess I misunderstood that bit about shpping included (as long as you pick the right region)

Also, why, if the prices include shipping, am I also charged shipping on top of the price for the cases when I go to checkout?

Glad to help. At the checkout you have options to upgrade the shipping over and above the free shipping if you need the products quicker, the free method is shown first, and the shipping options with the upgrade cost listed afterwards.
