it's actually two times the same section stuck together Vik

obviously if you stick way way many next to eachother the eye will see patterns.

This can be somewhat alleviated by first sticking many together and then applying photoshop's fake lighting render.

well there is tonal differences in the tiles as you can tell. if you put these segments next to each other 12 times, the repetition of these differences becomes very visible to human eyes.
you can alleviate that by applying a fake "lighting" to the whole thing, like a spotlight in the middle this creates an overarching difference of tone for the whole thing which draws the eye away from the repeating patterns.

anyways, nerdy stuff. it's just a test run to see if i can make convincing stone tiles from scratch. I do believe the answer is yes.

nice progress on the bricks, might i suggest some posters of some sort on the angled wall.. could add some interesting detailing

I was actually going to make a separate sheet of signs and posters so you can decorate things a bit yourself. well, that was the idea anyways.
I kind of want to avoid making it too immediately "40k" on it's own, as some (angry) warseer poster noted, not everyone plays 40k xD

good idea, plus i'd like to see some nice posters by you, those would be very useful!
