I know - I almost used "LET'S ROCK!!!", but the figure can't be Vasquez .

Has to be Drake... before he ditches the smartgun!

"Its terrible the way that conversion kit is causing him to buy 2 GW kits... " - Mad4Minis

Heresy do a range of Troopers that'd look cool next to the smartgunner

Maybe in the future, Hasslefree is known for its carefree release schedules that alternates wildly every month. Example: The first batch of haz-mats were released a few years ago. Also, they already released a girl with pulse rifle, again several years ago.

Any word on how they will scale up to othe figures?

I'm seeing some Sedition wars replacements in there, or Infinity.

I'm definatly in for some for All Things Zombie. Add them in with a couple from Empress Minis, thats a full platoon or two to be had there.

Great looking sculpts, by the way.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

IIRC Infinity models are a wee bit taller, though not as badly as when putting them alongside GW models.

Those figs are very nice, but I'd love, and I mean LOVE, someone to release a squad of Colonial Marines that look like the ones from the film. The Smart Gunner looks very close to Drake, so why not Hicks, Hudson and some generic troops that match style and equipment? Thats all. Too bad no one has gone for the rights and gone all out except Leading Edge back in the 90's. And their figs are bad, bad, bad... I have some resin figures that are good but they're 1/35 scale.

Yes - I understand what you mean.
I would also like to have minis representing the whole cast from Aliens (and the other Alien and Aliens films as well).

Also, multipart not-aliens would be nice...
I have bought lots of (expensive) Horrorclix aliens - and also recast them for personal use - to populate my massive "Aliens vs Colonial Marines" themed 3D Space Hulk board.

Not sure about the stance of the trooper but the sculpting on it looks fine.

I couldn't agree more, on both counts!
He looks like that weapon is alot heavier than it looks?

Isn't that the firing position they need to assume to use the weapon properly?

To me, yes. If the weapon was larger anyway.

I like Deano a good deal. Depending on his size he'd make a pretty good USAriadna trooper.

Hahaha. Deano?

I love it. It's a "Not Colonel O'Neill" from SG-1. Right down to the ballcap and Richard Dean Anderson's trademarked "Not Impressed" face.
