Ork Admiral Kroozin Da Kosmos on Da Hulk
|
lord_blackfang wrote:The nice part about this is that it can more or less be used to ally and army with itself, since the variant lists use many of the same units. Orks + Dread Mob = basically extra FOC slots for more Orks. You could be doing this without actually using any FW models at all.
The Dread Mob is very different from Codex:Orks though. You can get a bigmek, burnaz, lootaz, koptaz and walkers here, but not much more.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe. |

If you go to the links above and look for the Imperial Armor books, the rules are in there.

Pyro Pilot of a Triach Stalker

So the only thing that needs "fixing" with it is the mention of Acute Senses. The Tomb Stalker cant Outflank so havign thsi rule makes no sense.
Note: all the FW and GW Apoc units do still mention WBB (The Pylon and all the apoc datasheets). I'm assumign your are just supposed to substitute RP for the workign - it still mostly makes sense anyway.
It does not have Acute Senses. It has a Sensor Cluster which gives it Night Vision and a bunch of other USR from it's Phase Tunneling ability, none of which are acute senses.

Painlord Titan Princeps of Slaanesh

While it might seem nice that no longer is there a "roll again" for getting a 6, there is also no "GUN crew shaken" or "DRIVER stunned", it's just crew shaken and crew stunned, meaning that either result shakes ALL weapons on the vehicle, with only the primaries getting a 4+ save. Since a lot of superheavy weapons are template or blast, that limits a lot of what they can do.
Also makes possession on chaos titans all the sweeter. Automatically Appended Next Post: Bah and I knew it - I thought something was fishy about that statement in the first place, and I double-checked:
You still roll again when you get a 6 - so you can still annihilate a superheavy with a single roll if you're lucky. Automatically Appended Next Post: Also - D weapons no longer give +1 on the damage table for being D. Most are AP2 though, so will get +1 from that and the select few that are AP1 still will give +2.

Has anyone seen or heard about any updates for the Brass Scorpion? I dont see it on any of the updates but was wondering if it now gets the Daemon USR?
I would have thought it makes sense as the Decimator and other Daemon engines get it.

The Brass Scorpion is an Apocalypse unit, so they say in the IA vehicle update PDF that for those units you're just supposed to look at the Imperial Armor Apocalypse update PDF...but that PDF is currently just a basic rules update for Apoc into 6th edition, so for now it looks like you just use the stats as-is for Apoc units until FW finishes doing a full update for everything.
