Haha, that's the best way I'd heard this put.

But if there was a big mashup, I'm pretty sure Chaos Primarchs would win...especially since they have all of their normal power ALONG with their new Chaotic powers. But don't get me wrong, I'm rooting for the Loyalists!

Angron the most dangerous? Fulgrim toasted 2 primarchs. One who killed another primarch. Just saying.

And Russ beat Magnus. Whine however you like about it being "unfair" but his chumps couldn't keep up with the wolves. Russ would have killed him had he not escaped into the warp. He did get some measure of revenge when he smashed into Fenris and squashed all the research into stabilizing the SW geneseed. Was defeated again, though it took about half a dozen of the space wolves characters, including their great wolf. But the Thousand Sons were decimated in the process.

Which is a big difference between the Primarchs and the Daemon Primarchs- the Chaos primarchs don't care much for the cost their followers pay whereas the loyalists will give everything for their primarchs who do not spend them lightly. It is why the Emperor's Children, who have arguably the most deadly primarch, are nothing but rare, scattered warbands. Chaos broke the legions just as much as the Imperium did.

Really, it depends. If, say, Sanguinius were to fight Mortarion, Loyalist victory. If Ferrus Manus were to fight Horus, Chaos victory.

If you're on about the loyalist's most skilled Primarch vs. the traitor's most skilled primarch, well... we all know what happened that time.
As for other instances of two Primarchs matching up, the only ones I can think of from the top of my head is Fulgrim killing Ferrus Manus, Corax being about to kill Lorgar (got stopped because Konrad Curze stepped in and was about to surround him with a bunch of chaos legions) and Fulgrim pretty much putting Gulliman in a coma.

The easiest way to decide who's gonna win is to look and see who has more fluff.

Well, the raven guard have the least fluff of all the first founding chapters, but Corax noticably outmatches at least Lorgar in combat, plus the ultramarines have considerably more fluff than any other chapter, but Gulliman got all but killed by Fulgrim.

Agree - Russ kicks Magnus any day of the week - Russ had dirty fighting ,Magnus had F**** POWER OF THE WARP - nuff said
And I'think Lorgar is now a badass,Corax would be suprised if they clashed now

Russ beat him fairly. Magnus went all out on him with psychic attacks, but Russ endured it and managed to kick Magnus' ass.

1. I hardly think that accidentally punching someone in the eye while flailing wildly because they're in the process of pulling your heart out of your ribcage counts as either a fair victory or kicking their ass.

2. Magnus was also psychically stopping the fight on the rest of the planet and getting attacked by a bunch of Space Wolves while he fought Russ IIRC, so that hardly counts as being able to go all out against him.

Anyhow, the power of Chaos was enough to make Luther, who wasn't a even a true Space Marine, strong enough to match, or almost match, a primarch, and the only recorded battle between a primarch and daemon primarch has the daemon primarch as the victor.

Well thats just stupid - Magnus lost- Russ tore him apart - and there isn't prize for 2nd place - End of story
Btw they changed old codex(where Russ hit's Magnus tacticaly in the aye) so that fight looks more tense

AND here is the pure joy:
Spoiler:
Ahriman cried out as he saw Magnus reel back from the Wolf King, one hand clutched to his eye as his shattered arm crackled with regenerative energies. As broken and bloodied as Leman Russ was, he was brawler enough to seize his opportunity. He barrelled into Magnus and gripped him around the waist like a wrestler, roaring as he lifted his brother’s body high above his head.
All eyes turned to Russ as he brought Magnus down across his knee, and the sound of the Crimson King’s back breaking tore through every warrior of the Thousand Sons’ heart.

ADB: I showed the Wolves revealing the key weakness at the heart of the World Eaters; showing Angron that his Legion was broken and worthless compared to the others; that he was the one primarch who couldn't trust his own warriors, and that they didn't care if he lived or died; showing that loyalty to brothers and sons is the heart of success for the Legiones Astartes, to the point even Lorgar makes a big deal out of saying the World Eaters and their primarch were massively outclassed by Russ, and Angron was too stupid to see the lesson Russ had sacrificed time, sweat, and blood, to teach. We're talking about a battle the Wolves won, by isolating the enemy general through pack tactics, and threatening to kill him, without a hope of defending himself. It was a balance, 50/50 - Angron overpowered Russ, and the Wolves were losing ground to the World Eaters; but Russ and his warriors had Angron by the balls, and barely broke a sweat. They won, no question. Lorgar even says: "The Wolves won, meathead."

Dorn won’t help you either. He’s too busy being the Emperor’s groundskeeper, hiding behind the palace walls. The Wolf is too busy cutting off heads as our father’s executioner, while the Lion holds on to his secrets, and has no special fondness for you. Who else will come? Not Ferrus, certainly. Nor Corax either. Even as we speak, I suspect he flees for Deliverance. Sanguinius?’ Curze laughed cruelly. ‘The angel is more cursed than I. The Khan? He does not wish to be found. So who is left? No one, Vulkan. None of them will come. You are simply not that important. You are alone.’ Konrad Curze to Vulkan
