Will have to pay some more though to finally see.
Dakkafexes should be decent at AA too. Volume of shots is nice.
And the Stone Crusher Carnifex from IA:A 2nd ed is now looking pretty nasty du to it's 2+ save.

Off the top of my head I can't think of a single model which didn't get better
Guardians got worse.
Everything with a Rapid Fire weapon, or a 4+ armour save or better got relatively better thanks to the new rules.
Guardians (who were already terrible) have neither and are relatively worse.
This is exactly what I mean. Guardians actually got better in 6th edition, but since everyone else got more better the net effect is that the 8 points you used to spend for a 5 point unit is now an 8 point unit for a 4 point unit. (Hyperbole, but not by much)

After all, Guardians are poets and philosophers. What would you expect.
They are still good at babysitting a heavy weapon in a ruin led by a Warlock with embolden, or when they walk in an Avatar's fearlessness bubble.
The fluff regarding philosophers and poets is... annoying. They are born* better soldiers than what humans need to spend years drilling to be.

I just realized that while Arjac Rockfist always was a beast, even he improved a bit. He has always had stubborn USR but it never did any good unless he was the last guy alive in the unit. However, now he gives Stubborn to what ever squad he is attached to. Which while not game changing, does help justify his somewhat high point cost.

Resolute Ultramarine Honor Guard
|
For me, Honour Guard went from a fun side project, to viable and even deadly in game unit.
For giggles, we ran same point HG (half Power sword, half power axes) vs SM TDA, HG vs SW WG TDA, HG vs DW (all TDA mixed in TH/LC combinations)... in all three matches the Honour Guard charged once, where charged once, and started already locked in combat. Believe it or not, HG won all three.
If some board soul wants to run the math hammer on those nine little battles, I'm really curious if those fights were accurate or if they were an anomaly.
If you can earn back your points against Assault TDA, not a bad choice
