I think it was white dwarf 300. How large is the blood angel chapter, as I remember thinking it didn't look that big for a full chapter.

TBH, I dont see the point collecting an entire chapter. Just collect a battle company and heavily support it with elements of other companies (thats what I have done over my 7 years of wargaming).

You could also make your own chapter and for whatever fluff reason they could only have a very few marines.

Imagine someone doing an entire chapter TRUE SCALE (with appropriately scaled vehicles as well).

There's an Iranian game shop owner living in Kyiv, Ukraine that actually painted and collected the ENTiRE Dark Angels chapter. I asked him once what it cost, he said with dealer discounts he estimated maybe $11,000 and another $1000 for paint, basing, and glue.

I kid you not, there was probably 4000-5000 models in that collection, most of them metal (collection was made before 2005). Each Army group took up its own shelf on a wall, stacked 3 high. Deathwing and the bikers (can't remember) shared a shelf. I just remember staring at maybe over 50 landspeeders (some old school style with librarian markings) and trying to estimate the assembly time.
