Actually the easy way to do this is to build your Chapter as the Crimson Fists right after the Snagrod Waagh attacked Rynn's World.

If I recall correctly you would only need like 218 marines or somehting like that.

Not too expensive.
Or better yet, the Novamarines. They only have something like 13 marines left.

They have more than that IIRC...
Just not in any concentrations higher than half a company or so...
The entire chapter is scattered and AFAIK acting as detachments to other chapters...

Crimson Fists might work. Not exactly the smurfs we all know and love, but their novel is one of my favorites in my mediocre BL collection. IIRC, then they should have about 50 vets and 75 marines, along with a handful of vehicles and a dreadnought or two. Even the surviving companies took losses, and the assault on the spaceport was not pretty. You'd need to model a good deal of Ryans World PDF if you hope to win, but its a company

This was before drop pods and they has the 2nd edition smaller rhinos and razorbacks. No land raiders either. Maybe two thunder hawks?

EDIT: fixed some hideous typos...

There were Landraiders. 10 of them. There were two thunderhawks in the picture but you only got one in the deal. And that was an old metal one. Not the Forgeworld one.

The Crimson Fists have recently re-built their Scout company upto pretty much full strength, at least according to the 5th edition Marine codex IIRC.

Other ideas for nearly extinct Chapters would be the likes of the Lamenters, Emperor's Scythes & Celestial Lions. All three are pretty much down to just 1-3 companies worth of marines after run-ins with the Tyranids or some Orky gargants!

If anyone can make a SM chapter, then they are the god of wargaming. If i'm not mistaken, there is not a single complete chapter out there.

Incorrect, there is a Norwegeen guy that did the ENTIRE blood angels chapter, and a titan

in Inquisitor, a Space Marine can take a krak grenade, pull out the pin, eat the grenade, throw the pin, and the thrown pin will actually kill a normal man, whereas the Space Marine won't even have indigestion. This has actually happened in a game. Hell, a marine can throw his bolt shells and do more damage than by shooting his boltgun

I don't think it's that high. In a farewell to 5th apoc game I fielded my whole battle company in 3,000 points. I could have added more whistles and bells, but I think 3,500 a company would be a stretch. Obviusly the 1st and 10th are not going to be average, and you have to add in all the chapter level assists. I think a full chapter would probably run around 50k to 75k.

Someone with a codex, calculator, and a lot of spare time could give us a solid answer.

This would be on my bucket list if I had one. It is my goal for the next few years though. My budget only allows me $100 a month, so it looks like I have a long way to go.

Incientally, a friend and I were talking about this and it looks like I have a cost.

If I ever won the lottery, this is something I would do. Call GW and tell them I want them to send me everything required for a full chapter of my Dark Angels. Not only that I want them to be sculpted with the icons that way I won't have to work with decals.

9 Dreadnoughts
2 Razorbacks

10 Land Speeder Squads
5 Assault Squads

Now to find a table large enough to hold all of that....

Someone once told me this about Porsche Panameras:
"There are two Panamera's in my hood. Visual pepper spray. When Jesus was on the cross and cried out "Father, why have you forsaken me?" it wasn't because of the whole crucifixion, it was because he foresaw the design of the Porsche Panamera."

The Battle Company was good value. I recall the price being such that the razorback and 8 rhinos were pretty much free.
The Spear was the same price as the models sold individually. I recently came across an old discussion moaning about this fact.

A basic tactical company, with 1st and 10th company detachments, and armory, by my number crunching, runs $2,386.25 USD at full retail.

However, a companies worth of only the infantry/character models in a Tactical Company is only about $525 full retail. That's not so bad. It's the fully decked out armory that kills you.

I know for sure he wasn't Norwegian. I believe he was Polish. It may have been another eastern Euro country, but I am almost certain it was Poland. Yes, he had a giant ORANGE Blood Angel chapter that he used to paint while taking the train to his store (which he owned). It was very impressive when viewed as a company, but, as I recall, was pretty tabletop standard when you looked up close. An impressive feat, nevertheless!!!
