I love these recruitment posters! I can easily imagine these guys existing as a mercenary faction somewhere in the 40K universe. The conversions are great and the paintjob and bases are totally solid. I love Beastmen in all their forms, and you, my good man, have done them justice!

In fantasy the special character- Ungrol four horn and his unit- are a part of the beastmen army, who occasionally will interact with the main herd, but will sort of go off do their own thing the rest of the time (fluff-wise and game wise)... So I figure in the 40k universe, the perfect equivalent for them is a Necromunda gang with Ungrol being the gang leader.

Within the Metal beast mercenaries structure, I imagine Ungrol and his unit to be sort of the PR (public relations) of the main army, based in Necromunda. A point of contact in which the noble houses of the spires, or the lords of the Spires can reach and hire the main Metal beast mercenaries force to do a contract or whatever else that needs to be done.

have their main branch in hive city in hive primus- they are allowed (by the lords) to go in and out of all section of the hive freely, so that they can receive or give any messages for the main army, put up advertisement posters, hand out flyers, tagging walls, receive payments, etc.

When they don’t have to do any Metal beast mercenaries related business (which takes up a lot of their time), they tend to go and do random things for themselves such as- occasional jobs from the houses of the hive city, racketeering, being hired guns, or anything else that might make them some credits…

The Base I used for these guys came from HITECH Miniatures - 25mm Industrial bases. They are go really well with the Necromunda feel of things…. Well worth it!!!!

I figured there will be many other groups like this with its own regional manager in most if not all the systems reporting to Ungrol, then to the main force. They are abhuman beastmen ungors so I think they can blend in with the imperium, the chaos/heretics, and most of other alien race.

I always wanted to do a 40k Beastmen army... I thought the beastmen were such cool models they would be great to convert... Now I know I had only glanced the very surface of this concept.

This is a GORGEOUS army, with such a diverse list of models and possibilities... you are a genius.

So many pics, cannot comment enough to do them all justice. Those are some unbelievable kit-bash conversions you've done, resulting in one of the most unique armies I have ever seen. The poses are so epic, especially the "wolf lord with a power weapon" I starred at that for like 10 minutes.

Everyt ime I think this can't get any cooler, you go ahead and out do yourself. I can't wait for you to do it again!

and this is what It looks like when it’s finished!!!!!!!

Metal beast pattern Land raider-









































The size of it is more or less exactly the same as a normal space marine land raider… It is how ever just around an inch (ish) taller (not including the horns- but that don’t really count any ways….)- so line of sight wise it’s all good… more or less…..













As you all would have notice there are no guns on the land raider… At first I was going to put guns on the tank itself but when I did it sort of ruin the lines and over all shape of the vehicle, so I opted for a different option. I combine the idea of large beastmen servo skulls (I did previously for my tech priest) and the tau gun drones that follow tanks around…..
I really like the idea of having a vehicle just for transport purposes only, and some drone-like servo skulls floating around the vehicle defending it.

I designed it so that they simply clip onto the main hull of the vehicle.
