I had thought I saw them say something about this being the final stretch goal, but I went back through all of the updates and couldn't find anything.

Anythings possible especially since it's CMoN and they seem to love stretch goals.

As a thank you to all backers, we'll be sending out PDF links to you all for the Confrontation Phoenix rules and inviting you to give us feedback into the revised ruleset for the miniatures game!

The new rules capture the old feel and flavor of Confrontation while balancing and rationalizing all the powers of the disparate factions, and so far the initial comments we've been getting from external test teams have been very positive indeed!

Once they're ready, you'll receive a set of the preview rules and unit cards via PDF so you too can join in and test out the new edition!

Also, as requested by some of you, we are making Token Packs available for purchase separately for $5 for each set of 24 Agent Pawns.

If you want any of these items, or the optional Gameboard, just add the appropriate amount to your pledge and we'll confirm the items after the Kickstarter concludes in our Pledge Manager. There is no need to tell us now what options you're getting. Thank you all for backing Guilds of Cadwallon!

fethers might have had me with that if I'd seen it in time.
What little reaction I've seen to Phoenix in progress is that it's a pile of poop though, so maybe not.

Update 18:

Quick update today.

We have just confirmed that the container for Guilds is arriving at the US warehouse first week of April, and slightly after that for the UK. This means that shipping will start April instead of March as originally estimated..

Sorry for the inconvenience, we'll endeavor to get you your games as soon as possible.

Did they ever provide the PDF preview rules for the upcoming Confrontation relaunch?

I have not gotten mine yet, nor have they posted in the kickstarter that they sent those out yet.

Last I heard development on Confrontation is behind where they want it to be so it could be awhile yet.

That's what I heard too.

Rumor was that they didn't want to just more or less re-release C3 or 3.5 - they didn't feel that would be for the best for long-term survival.

So, they did a pretty hefty re-write.

Then, after many games, a playtester said "This game... isn't much fun." Then a bunch of other playtesters agreed.

And so it was back to the drawing board - with a lot of time now lost...

Better they take it back to the drawing board than release something that's not fun, though.

...and it seems as if trying to create something 'new' might not have been the way to go, too.

New update on Kickstarter..

Shipping has started for USA/rest of the world for backers without Token Packs A/B (we're waiting on those to arrive), and is anticipated to begin last week of April for the EU when the container arrives in the UK.

You will receive an email with your tracking info when you game has shipped - we'll update again when USA shipping has been completed, and when EU shipping has begun. You can also check if your game has shipped by logging on to the the pledge manager at https://ckpm.coolminiornot.com.

and since I got the token packs.. gonna be a while for me.
