Do air caste Tau look different, other than being taller?

Taller and slimmer (and lighter bones from living mostly in orbital stations):

Some thousand years ago, they actually had little wings.

I wonder how they're going to relay those aesthetics in a cockpit. Perhaps if you can see the whole body instead of just from the ribcage up.

Long, thin arms might go a long way towards showing such a body build.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Eldar flyer as that is my latest army, but I'll pretty much bet it'll be priced like the Dark Angel one rather then the Razorwing, which means I will never end up buying one. Argh!

Well, that Prettymuch puts a bullet in that left field rumor. Maybe it bodes well for a tau hardback in march/April though.

Been out of the game for awhile, trying to find time to get back into it.

Bit surprised not to see this on Dakka but rumours are flying (haha) around that the next release will not be Chaos Daemons (shame, i was looking forward to Plastic GDs) but is in fact a new Flyer Wave comprising of flyers for:
Eldar
Tau
Tyranid (Harpy)
Dark Eldar (Void Raven)

Apparently these come from Faeit12 so i make no assumptions on accuracy or legitamacy but was surprised to see it not mentioned.....

Thoughts?

one would hope that they would come out with a book or suppliment that has the Dakkajets and Stormtalon rules along with new rules for the Valk and Vendetta(like AV11 and +40 points)
actually the DE flyers could use some work too. Vector Dancer and the Void weaponry upping to AP1

Not to derail the thread but i cant believe they haven't produced a plastic Thunderhawk yet, they must be scared of money.....

I would instantly part with large amounts of money if they did. Stompa but no Thunderhawk? Really??

I personally feel that the Nids won't get an air superiority flyer. They will probably get an all rounder and have a vector strike like the Heldrake to tackle aircraft. I'd very much like to see a Voidraven (might be it has a broader wingspan to accomodate its varying payload)

The dual brainleech devourer Flyrant is already more or less an air superiority flyer-- the only flyer it really has trouble with is the Stormraven Gunship.
