Back to the topic as titled. Personally I liked the fact that Eldar lost this ability...
Now let me defend myself before the rotten fruit is throw! The main local eldar player and don't always see eye to eye. He is a nice guy, but our views on models and rules couldn't be further apart. For example to start a guy off in the game he lent him Belial, a command squad termi group, and a five man tac squad for a 500 point game. Cool that is fine with me. We all scalled up to 1000 points and while the new guy tried wolves the eldar player brought in a seer council with Eldrad, another Farseer, the works. He said it was to compensate for getting teamed up with the new guy.
... Now do I think Eldar really did deserve this? Partially. i think they should be brought to the standard, not this subpar rubbish.
Still little bit of bitterness since I play Orks and we are royally gimped in all things psychic. Be glad you still have some good stuff Eldar.
I play Orks too and I like our psychic powers... I take a warphead with me to battle whenever I can. With Dakka Jets and free Waaaghs it has helped me many times. The melta shot awesomeness, the 'ere we go can be helpfull, annoying at times but usually helpfull. I personally don't mind that we do not have the same psychic powers as everyone else. It is like a lot of things ork, random..
Don't get me wrong my first hq choice is almost always a warboss on bike

Except paladins, being 2W expensive models who DONT have 3++ or 4++ saves relied on FNP more than any others. IF you dont understand how reducing this for them hurts them more than others, then you have a comprehension issue.
You indeed made a logical fallacy - you assumed the majority agreed with you, based on only 2 people disagreeing. It also isnt a "word", but a *phrase*. Later on the word is "Kudos" as well. Please try to spell correctly.
As for how competitively I play - top 50 in the UK. You? Given you have only mentioned "local" FLGS, I guess not much?
GK re *strong* in 6th edition, however a lot of what they did so well has been heavily reduced in effectiveness or durability. THis is fact.

Didn't Paladins become 5++/5+ from being 5++/- against plasma? I don't see how plasma actually made Paladins worse. Granted, I am in group C, but mathematically two 5+ saves beat one 5+ save. I think what we're looking at here is a meta-shift. Essentially the thing that made Eldar Fire Dragons so good in 5th edition. Will you believe me when I say that Eldar Fire Dragons were pretty pants in 3rd and going from 3rd to 4th they shifted one single point and no equipment? And let me tell you that that single point did not make them go from being a marginal waste of points to being really cost effective. Now plasma have targets to shoot at, so now plasma is good. Now that people aren't stuck in their infernal transports as much, people bring out the AP2 and AP3 guns to kill all those hordes of Space Marines. Eldarcannon wrote:Cheers dakka! I'd suggest renegotiating it. 12" Blessings. No awkward rules and pretty much what you can expect from BRB spells. Being able to cast INTO a vehicle is perhaps dodgier than being able to cast OUT OF the same. P.S. Damned, old tab. Sorry for the two-day res. This thread probably didn't deserve it.
