Well that's hardly fair considering CoH has Nazis in it, and Nazis are awesome, as shown in this educational video.

Sometimes they end up releasing good games (because they take risks other publishers wouldn't?) but you better hope it's good when it's shipped, and odds are high it won't be because their QA is seemingly nonexistent. Magicka and SotS 2 are examples that spring to mind. A while back I was amazed to find that Magicka's multiplayer still has bad bugs in it that date back to release (and which I assume are still there) and SotS 2 should need no introduction.
Paradox though does make some great games. That may be due to the amount htey churn out, however. But Victoria II, EU3, Hearts of Iron 3, Crusader Kings II and Mount&Blade were published or made by them.
Boring, ripped-off content from games workshop, at least in my opinion. Seems like their devs and art team were huge fans of warhammer in the 90s, stole the art style, expanded upon it and made it less wierd and ugly (and therefore less unique and interesting) and ran with it.

With that said, I shall back away slowly and ominously and disappear in a puff of smoke, then smuggle some fruit across the border in order to stay competitive with the veggie cartel.

I don't know anything in particular about Paradox, but from this it sounds like they're more of a hands-off publisher, like Matrix Games seems to be. The games they publish seem to be pretty bad all around, with the exception of Distant Worlds, which ruined the 4x genre for me by doing everything better than any other 4x game of any subgenre has (excepting Total War, if you want to call it a 4x).
I'd have to say the worst companies are Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo, for perpetuating the rubbish of consoles, and also Sony for being an obscenity in everything it does too. EA, Ubisoft, and Activision for the ideological damage they're inflicting on the industry. Browser and mobile devs because just no.
The centre of a massive brood chamber, heaving and pulsating.
Microsoft, Bethesda and Activision.
Sure Blizzard haven't made an original game for years and are living off World of Borecraft subs, but what games they do release are OK (StarCraft 2 is pretty well made) Capcom may have some silly DLC practices, but they do make good games, same for EA. Square Enix are still a great company, and the only thing against them is their mishandling of FF (and after over 16 games in the series, not counting spinoffs, I'm amazed they kept the quality so high as long as they did). Ubisoft...meh, I like most of their games, so no complaints from me.
Activision basically does nothing but COD-specifically, MW2 with new maps and new weapons. Microsoft meanwhile releases an overpriced, terrible piece of hardware with a gakky online component and nothing but Halo and a few other forgettable exclusives (also they've moreorless destroyed poor Rareware). Bethesda makes games which look good to start with, but upon further inspection are glitchy, half finished messes. And don't get me started on their attempts to port their games to consoles. I made the mistake of getting the PS3 version of Skyrim. Ugh.
Squigsquasher, resident ban magnet, White Knight, and general fethwit.

I'm also going to have to call on this. I'd say for many studios that have been sucked into Microsoft they suffer a fate far worse than if they were picked up by EA. They aren't just sucked dry; they're kept on going for as long as Microsoft want them, making what the 'geniuses' at Microsoft tell them, having them suckle off of a very dry teat just so they survive and push out games according to Microsoft's calendar and rules, that have to work on Xbox, that aren't allowed to publish where they want, that have to have ridiculous DRM on them...
Rare, Lionhead, etc. Remember when these companies used to make good games? Remember Fable TLC and Banjo? They were good, in the case of Banjo, one of the most popular franchises to exist, and now they're being made to pump out the drivel Microsoft tells them to every single year else they be forced away (and possibly blacklisted).
