Good riddance to people like this, the assistants that witnessed these acts and did nothing to stop them should also be prosecuted as accomplices.

Stepping off into the political weeds, we must keep in mind the reality that if abortion law at the federal level were reversed via some overturning of the roe vs wade case at the supreme court, NOT all abortion would revert to some sleazy coat hanger back alley way.

The majority of the 50 states would have legal abortion as before, and I think 8-11 states would have bans or major restrictions. I do not remember the numbers exactly, but that is how it was before roe vs wade.

Considering abortion is legal for terminating non extenuating circumstance pregnancies, which is bad enough in my opinion, the practices of this " doctor " and his assistants go beyond the pale. I think everybody here is justly sickened by this monster.

It's legal, with barely being a strawman term. I remember before it was legalized people emphatically saying such things only happened because abortion was illegal. The argument was such stories would be artifacts of the past since no one would have to fear jail.

It's legal, with a constant torrent of restrictions meant to make the process as difficult as possible, bordering on prohibitive. But as stated many times in this thread: this situation is not about pro-life or pro-choice.

Plastic surgery is legal yet there are plenty of back street places you can get it done still. Either people whojust want bigger margins by cutting corners or people without licences etc...

Laws need to be backed by enforcement and investigation if they are to be effective.
