I personally don't see anything wrong with Draigo's fluff. Its really only the whole Mortarion thing that people get annoyed over, but going by game stats, giving the HH Mortarion Daemon and Mark of Nurgle, and Draigo a NFW in exchange for his Titansword, it is still possible, although unlikely, Draigo could prevail. Alll he needs is a bunch of good rolls.

I know people say that game to fluff doesn't worj, but remember that this is a game with fluff written to compensate, not a story with accompanying game. They arn't going to write something that's physically impossible to perform, like Draigo punched a Battle Barge to explosion. A Mortarion vs Draigo fight could go in the latters favour with luck. And don't forget it doesn't say Draigo complete pwned him with his awesome skills and killed him from Mortarion at full power. For all we know, Draigo just struck one blow and his sword banished him.

I thought Lorgar knew/realized Fulgrim would banish the daemon, himself? IIRC, Lorgar burst into laughter after looking at the portrait of Fulgrim or something before telling the daemon that the daemon was going to get owned, leaving the daemon confused. I was under the impression Fulgrim was psychically telling Lorgar, "Don't worry, I got this handled." or something like that.

Defeating Mortarion is by far one of Draigo's least "impressive" feats of prowess.

And wandering the warp is? The only danger known to come from being in the warp is Daemons, and if he can beat a Daemon Primarch, who a kot of people on this thread agree are a tier above majority if not all Daemons, why not?

You are aware that there is a world of difference between a Daemon in the Warp, and one in the materium, right?

Also, this is nonsense.

Draigo has pranced about the Warp doing unthinkable things like burning Nurgles forests and solving Tzeetnchs super riddles (or something to that effect) I wouldn't be surprised if in the next GK codex he manages to feth Slannesh to death while arm wrestling Khorne and winning, the dude isn't "on the Emps level" he's above everyone else to such a degree it's laughable.

That's why I assume he's long dead and just a echo that appears on battlefields.

Really, unless I've missed something major, I've never read anywhere of the warp tearing things apart, only Predatory Daemons and other entities. And there is a world of difference between Draigo at Grand Master with a NFS, and Supreme Grand Master of minimum 80 odd years armed with his Iron, Silcer and Daemonic brass alloy blade, as well as being in direct contact with the source of his psychic power and strongest weapon.

And he solved no such Tzeentchian riddle, he simply circumvented it and remained loyal to his Emperor.

In the epic game the DP primarchs were just face-stompingly powerful. DP Angron pretty much tore the living feth out of anything he got into B2B with and DP Magnus was just... well, he could blap warlord titans, which was amusing.

The problem as always is that different source material has completely different power levels so there is no 'correct' answer.

People I've said and I'll keep saying: Ka"Bandha (the bloodthirster Sanguinius fought) is a couple dozen times more powerful than a normal bloodthirster. You guys seem to forget or ignore this.
Angron as a daemon primarch should be magnitudes more powerful than An"ggrath stat wise but because An'ggrath is a FW creation they don't have to hold back.

In no fluff does it say Ka'Bandha is 24X greater then a normal bloodthirster, AFAIK it outright states that An'ggrath is the strongest bloodthirster yet to be summoned from the Warp and even he lost a fight to an inquisitor

Pg 15 of Codex Grey Knights outright states "Ka'Bandha, greatest of all Khorne's Bloodthirsters."

FW says that An'ggrath is the greatest to emerge from the warp.

And GK codex says Ka'Bandha is the greatest, period. 2 directly conflicting sources and personally I lean towards Ka'Bandha.

What has Ka'Bandha ever done but lose embarrassingly?

What has Ann'grath done but sit on his backside in the Warp, only leaving twice? That's the equivilent of a severly obese former athlete who watches TV all day, one hand on the remote and one in a family sized doughnut box, only leaving the house because the pizza place next door won't deliver anymore.

Seriously, it doesn't matter what literature or story content tells us. GW (in the form of the codex writers and FW), have outright stated 2 different Bloodthirsters are more powerful than the other dispite their victories and losses in what the fluff says. And FYI, I haven't seen an actual quote from any specific source about Ann'grath being best. It's not that I distrust you, think of it as a formality or am calling you a liar or anything. Just a formality because I presented my source. Unless I have missed something in thread in which case apologies.
