We once did a three-way game where you made your worst army and then your opponents rolled off to see who got what. (So you could not get your own.)

One guy did orcs with a bunch of those two wound guys who can mod their guns and gave them all the gets hot! upgrade. Forget the name. (Edit: flash gitz!)

The army I received was imperial guard tide of conscripts.

The army I built was blood Angels:
Astorath
One large squad of death company on foot all dual wielding power fists.
A minimum size death company with lemartes.

The result was hilarious. The conscripts marched across the board.

Troops: Ripper Swarms X9, 5 Ripper Swarms X9 (Tunnel Swarm)

Aspect Warriors (in order of my favourites) Warp Spiders-(No known Phoenix Lord)-Just awesome how they can TELEPORT THROUGH THE WARP! SHADOW SPECTRES Shadow Spectres - Irillyth, Shade of Twilight - Tank Busters. HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE BUSTING YOUR OPPONENT'S TANKS?! Fire Dragons - Fuegan, the Burning Lance - Can you go wrong with pyrotech? Striking Scorpions - Karandras, the Shadow Hunter - just GREAT all-rounders. With CHAINSWORDS. Dark Reapers - Maugan'Ra, Harvester of Souls - Heavy Weapons Specialists. ELDAR MISSILE LAUNCHER Specialists. SHINING SPEARS Shining Spears - Drastanta, Tempest of Starlight - Jousting, 40,000-years-in-the-future-from-now-done-by-aliens style. Swooping Hawks - Baharroth, the Cry of the Wind - Flying people with Las weapons. Howling Banshees - Jain Zar, the Storm of Silence - Not too bad, the masks that amplify the screams to deafening volume shaves it out of last place. Dire Avengers - Asurmen, the Hand of Asuryan - Just more expensive Guardians who cannot take support weapons, can have an Exarch and can be fielded in squads of 5.

24 grots, 2 runtherds

GOD HELP YOU if you get into CC with them, but you only need to knock out 3 of the Nobs to cause a 7+ leadership check. I'm not sure if two giant grot mobs is worse than four little ones, though. What do you all think?

The two larger ones are less efficient - they're unwieldy, and I can focus my gunpower on them in more measured amounts. (And a heldrake will work much better )
Unless I'm a more choppy army, then the four smaller ones are the weaker option.

Some great bad lists here. At one point, we were thinking (locally) of playing a tournament of "play your opponents army" which would encourage taking your worst junk, and seeing if your opponent could figure out how to use it.

So which list is completely hamstrung regardless of how well the general plays it? In my opinion, either the ripper-swarm nids (no scoring!) or the gunless Tau (eeek).

Pluses to both lists, those Ripper Swarms can kill a lot of things. S5 T4 3+ with 5+ FNP and 3 attacks on the charge (even at WS2) isn't completely horrible... :-)

I would do that (the give your opponent your list) and give the worst player at the tournament my screamerstar. Watch them utterly fail to use it and get stuffer when they start trying to put grimoire on backfield horrors.

OK the Dread isn't init 1 but it's FA 12 with no drop pod so it will never get into combat.

I realised this is essentially a Word Bearers-ish list.
The most "useful" unit might be the cultist blobs.
However, the problem with most "bad" CSM units is that they are overpriced. So I'm not saying that these units suck outright, but they tend to suck when compared to the rest of the codex.
If I could field more Elites, I'd add a Helbrute somewhere.

So, yeah, yay Chaos.

It will take one turn to lose all of your scoring units, The Apostle will do feth all in the game, the Helbrutes are a laughing stock, and be sure to DS the Warp Talons for the additional chance of being tabled by turn 2.

1750? I think Orks can do that:

Old Zogwort
Mad Dok Grotsnik

(6) 30 Gretchin
3 Runtherds

(2) 10 Flash Gitz

(2) 3 Warbuggies

1 Killa Kan w/ skorcha and grot riggers.

Lots of bodies, but easily disposed with, Zogwort is useless, Warbuggies are popped easily, Killa Kan can't do anything except when its extremely close, Flash Gitz just suck.

I will admit, Zogwort in CC with the 2+ poison can hurt, but that's if he gets that far. But because he only has BS0, he cannot shoot any of the psychic abilities he has (including Zogwort's Curse). Thus, until further notice, useless.

This list comes just under the points. I figure one big useless HQ is the way to go. A sorcerer with only a chain axe and a really expensive power sword and random/useless spells would be glorious in its uselessness. and to top it Off, 3 of the largest, most useless units ever. They have no close combat ability and almost useless shooting. they can't scratch vehicles and are slow. They don't even get overwatch.

Add in a single Hellbrute and a single vindicator. Also, don't forget to charge your mutilators up field by themselves. The problem with chaos vehicles is that they come with no to few options that there's generally not a "worst" option but the "only" option.
