I've seen a couple of criticisms but several more positives.
I know it's SOP on Dakka to become increasingly negative toward anything and everything but the figures have been getting good feedback whether you choose to believe me or not.
I think I'll just stick to lurking.

I'm not trying to be "increasingly negative", just pointing out that the person who posted a review on here had mixed thoughts... looking at the comments on the KS page, as you mention in your previous post, doesn't really indicate much- if they were willing to back the second Kickstarter, they are likely those that are happy with the first!
On Dakka, you can get people who are not as invested... which can sometimes mean they have a more neutral viewpoint / can provide a more unbiased review.
Sorry you think things are negative but I really need to see pictures of quality miniatures, not just renders, to have faith that this young company can deliver models that are as good as are being previewed. Some of the previews look awesome but it's more useful to hear from people who have seen the models... of which I'm assuming you are one, and are happy with them, so that's good at least!
But I actually quoted Denilsta's review in case you might want to comment on any of the points in it... but a blanket statement about Dakka being too negative doesn't do anything to counter any of the criticisms he laid out in his review (which weren't overly harsh, imo, but just observations...).
I think that opinions on the AGM models has been a touch varied because the company has been learning a lot as they evolve about all aspects of the business. I think some who got earlier production models for some of their shipment likely felt more negative than those further down the production chain (and this might not just be improved manufacture but quality control changes and staff getting more experienced in spotting mistakes).
From what I gather AGM is also being good in sorting out problems for people where they've had them - though with a small company already pushing through shipping still its taking a bit of time; I suspect most miss-orders will be solved once AGM has cleared its wave 1 shipment backlog; plus when the KS 2 funds come through the investment in a new production machine should help them increase capacity significantly.
It's a new company and its honest to say there are some teething aspects here; but AGM is being solid with their commitments and overall the quality is more hit than miss. Sure come back in 5 years time and they could very well be lightyears ahead of where they are now.
Every company has to start somewhere - even the mighty GW spent years learning hte trade before they could output the high quality they are now.
There is no "SOP" on Dakka, other than various people stating various opinions.
I've read concerns about how the final figures were turning out - but it also sounds as if all quality concerns are being handled and hopefully everyone is happy in the end.

I'm really sorry if I came across negative and critical, I was hoping it read more as unbiased/neutral. ...AGM have a lots of positives and I'm sure that you will like the game/miniatures.
I would also check out the comments board on the 1st KS, a definite mixed bag of comments on there some very positive some extremely critical, but the critical comments are more related to the delays in delivering on the 1st KS.
Probably not much worse than Annyssa Ryvaal from Hordes. Granted its likely going to be a two phase painting model (one for the mount and one for the rider before fitting the two together).
Automatically Appended Next Post: Big update!
$74.6K so almost at the mighty Kyran dragon!
Content of the Kyran Dragon army revealed along with several new stretch goals and a new mystery egg at $100K
I dropped my pledge on this since they haven't responded to my email about the contents of my first shipment for 2 weeks now (the auto-reply says a human will deign to respond within 1 week). The quality on the minis I did receive was fairly decent, but I don't feel right supporting a 2nd campaign if they're unwilling to support the first.
The Airships been added to the pledge options along with troop selection!
In addition full army lists with troop details for all factions - includes points and stats as well as unit limits. (remember anything new is up for revision but these are already well put together).
The airship is certainly very impressive! It's also likely going to be a steal in price in this KS (heck it was daylight robbery in the first KS with its price). I fully expect it to be the biggest AGM makes for a long while and likely will be up with Collosals and Gargantuans from Warmachine in market position. Get in whilst you can
Also up to $77.7K which means nearly at the monstrous Kyran army; plus the Tooth of Kyran and Oolka are now unlocked extras
Up to $92K already and going strong with some huge models coming out - an Eradicator for the Shi - a huge Ballista for the Rish - a monstrous bear/ape/were/abominable snowman/bigfoot beast for the Garrick!
It's down to the last 24 hours now and standing at $98K. A new stretch goal at $104K for a Shi elite troop, the Shar'ala - female warriors who stalk the battlefields dealing out devastating attacks to those who would oppose the Shi nation
Down to the last 6 hours and counting - last chance to get in on these prices - big airships on sale - lots of dragons - monstrous beasties and more!
$108,913 pledged and well on the way to the Shi Eradicator!
Aye I know the feeling, Got a bit of my finds that are not fixed as to what they are for. Considering I'll probably add some during the Pledge Manager phase I can sort out any differences plus I've got some free space for the Ballista if we make it that far (already got my money in for the Shi Eradicator as that is as good as reached unless KS crashes on everyone).
Not only a saving on retail but nearly double your monies worth right now.
Double, then shipping, tax and a Canadian game with no local scene and no distributor as far as I can see. Too much work for me, glad it did well though.
To be fair its got no distributor because its not retail released yet. From what I've heard Wayland Games are interested in stocking it so I'm sure other UK/EU distribution networks are being contacted and want to get on board .
Drake 2 Pledge Manager is landing next week plus for a limited time they are opening the PM to accepting new people into pledging so if you happened to miss the KS you have a chance to join in now.
(Why must Journey WoD and Drake 2 KS land their pm in the same darn time frame - I just hope they both last for a good month or more
Update - Pledge Manager is launching today - under 1 hour to go. Remember this is letting new people join in as well so if you missed the KS or know people who did then spread the word so they can get in for a chance. It's the last time to get prices this low - esp on some big items like the Airship!
