Quite like the paramedic but not sold on the sci-fi generic bodysuit and armour guys or the not-very-alien aliens (especially with the females have to rely on skintanium armour...).
Was hoping for more figures like the paramedic.

Anyone download the English rules?
https://www.dropbox.com/s/lv2p3eqwy22pubb/LastSaga_EN_beta_v0.1.pdf
Disappointed in the use of centimeters instead of inches. Love using metric when building things, but for war gaming I'll stick with my inches.
What's with the generic movement system? All units have the same base movement?
I understand wanting to create a set of rules that stand out from others but this seems like trying to reinvent the wheel.

I gave the rules a quick read, and I like what I see so far. I like the idea of overstrain markers. It is a good way to keep players from just using all their action tokens on their all stars.

Will the Uruhvel be in any sort of action pose/ equipped with any weapons? The artwork at least makes them appear very static.
I would assume all the stretches (with the exception of the civilian) will become add ons?
Any chance for new starters to appear as we unlock figures?

The Council looks great for a hard scifi faction.
The Uruhvel look good, too, or at least the male models do. Can't say I'm overly excited to see that much flesh on the females. Seems a bit gratuitous, and a missed opportunity to expand on the otherwise cool armor concepts that the males have.

Thax for sharing !
------------------------------------
About the desing and miniatures.
The designs of the concepts are in a normal pose to help in the work of sculpture. But all units (except civil and extras) are looking for a dynamic combat pose.
As we work with 3D models, we can modify the figure before sending it to print, so we will listen carefully all the suggestions and ideas of the backers.
Last Saga Kickstarter campaing has begun.

I'm actually quite surprised by the price. As in, it's lower than I expected.
30mm Infinity is what I feel. Let me qualify that. Infinity in the sense of the models, not the game. Never played so I have no idea. But I have a ton of figures to paint some day when I'm retired.

I don't know why armies in the future just don't field all women and save money on armor or clothes that would be spent outfitting male troopers.

Nah... The scantily clad women are why the men need all the armor. Can't shoot the beautiful woman, who then uses the opportunity to shoot the dumbfounded man who is to busy gawking than to actually fight.

What is he though? At roughly 11' or 3,4m it can't be a suit with those proportions unless it's an alien with alien anatomy. No info on the KS page.

It's buried in the comments section, he's an Android on the humans side.

OK, I'll back this one for two starters plus the exclusive model. I hope they introduce at least one more faction, or else I'll just have to double up on the humans-- I don't really need or want a bunch of naked alien women. Also, be aware that shipping will be calculated at the end of the campaign, so who knows how much the final bill will be...?

If you're talking about wanting to see more prints of 3D models and their medal casts, you may be out of luck according to this earlier comment made by one of the project creators.
Lenwean wrote:
The objective of our campaign is not presale starter packs, but to finance production. That is why we don't have samples of castings. Hope you understand.
If you're talking about more 3D models, I think it's just a matter of time. New renders were shown, like this one:

Edit the first post of this thread to include the kickstarter link, I had to read through 3 pages to find it, fortunately I am stubborn others might not spend as much time searching.
Also Cyporiean is spot on with the casting costs, making a mold for a 28-32mm model shouldn't run more than $20-$40 depending on the parts count, but they wear pretty quickly and you'll only get 30 or so copies before it starts to go bad. Set up costs for metal are about $300. (and if your on a super tight budget you can share the mold to do several models at that price)
Resin casting is quite cheap to do but more demanding on the labor end, quality will typically be much better then metal provide your caster is experienced with it. (GW's Finecast is terrible product to judge resin by).
