Aha then they kept the original version, well there are 3 layers in total in that case I believe.

So vehicles go on bottom layer, medium sized in middle layer and the normal troops on very top.

True just some veichals do not fit in anything.

Space marines are almost lucky they have so much slab sided armour all around about 2 basic hull designs for nearly all normal armour choices.

Some of the elday, dark elday choices look a lot more complex to move about

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

That is true there. Dark Eldar vehicles are delicate things compared to like Astra Militarum (Imperial Guards) Lemon Russ arrangement of tanks.

Leman Russ,s are a bit deeply at same time but simple n solid designs for transport, same as space marines armour.

A rhino is not exactly for many delicate extra spines, sails or the like

I'm more wondering in how do you fit a Triarch Stalker into one of them cases lol

I'm soon to expect to see somewhere in Warhammer 40k from the warp, a demonic looking unicorn that shoots flames and god knows what else at enemies lol

That would probably want to make me custom build up as a unique mount like model for a Daemon or very possessed CSM

After Khorne Daemons, it would be Slannesh I'd be getting So would give perfect time to create one as custom creature

So far as mere 1600 points of marines.

I got a good size force so far of Dark Eldar, Necron & building up still from Dark Vengeance box set of CSM. Aiming to get Dark Eldar least more points before Moving to get Necrons up in points too.

Going to find out just how many points my armies are worth at moment hopefully tomorrow.

Bad guys is kind of an understatement for Dark Eldar lol. They're as evil as they come!

That's true. Dark Eldar are even more evil then Chaos itself.

As Dark Eldar just don't kill captured straight away but get taken away for decades or even larger spaces of time, kept alive through god knows how to keep Dark Eldar's from being hunted by Slannesh (as they created the thing in first place) lol

There about as evil as they come, n almost more twisted than chaos by a small margin.

Though a dark angel fallen may chaslenge the torture claim.

I've yet to see anyone play as the Fallen Dark Angel team, seen their HQ and he looks decent the black armour suits him.

But how do you play as that team? which codex do they follow?

May do a bit of reading into them in future as never really knew much about that group just apart from their HQ being in CSM section of GW site

Yeah, not a full codex but probably let you run a decent allied detachment. I'm not a expert on them but know they are not like a full all rounds codex like IG or space marines.

By sound of it, its Space Marines that were allowed to team up with CSM. So a basic ally for CSM.

But still an interesting side to look into if wanting an ally that wasn't Daemon based

Deamons make a very natural Allie though, surprised they are two cpdexs almost, they are both the powers of chaos, just have the ruinous powers codex, bit larger n more expensive but a one book for a entire chaos army.

Far as I understand they complement each otherpretty well.

True there, if you got a close combat based CSM army, you throw in Tzneech pink horrors for the ultra range + warp flames/fire based spells and attack.

If you got a slow moving CSM army, use Slennesh to move round area in blink of eye, rending everything with demonettes with range and close combat.

Nurgle are ultimate wall that absorbs so much damage and keeps moving lol

Then Khorne just dives in and plays havoc with any army lol

They would be very tough to beat down. Khorne are strongest in close combat so if they got in range, they could wipe a few out to keep attention.
