Oh yeah 2 Rhinos and when Orks attack them, very next turn.... 20 Khorne Berserker's emerge with huge grin on their face in perfect range of charge lol

True, manage to stop the rhino at range n you can hopefully kill a few before they get in to there danger zone.

Worked on orks, knocked out 3 out of 4 trucks n blocked a looted wagon and wwalker in a bottle neck n put of action for most of game. most of work army left foot slogging :-)

usually like more elite based so lesser unit count but more pack of a punch with each hit.

My marines dfid well, 2 missile launcher and a land speeder assult cannon made them pay dearly.

Elite but that day they worked well :-)

I know marines are a real pain to go up against if kitted out with the right things.

basically Swiss army knife of Space Marines lol But sure Khorne Daemons can turn their world upside down and inside out if close enough lol

Marines can face most foes with right choices. However they are also pretty forgiving with great armour and ability to survive being placed in bad position or survive the odd mistake and low chance of breaking.

Its times like that when the other person starts using instant death style weapons on them lol

I'd wouldn't dare use blast template weapons as knowing my luck my own troops will be blown up with my rolls lol

Given you have dark eldar, there hardly have the toughest armour of all the races, yes artillary may not be your friend....

I feel sorry for like Astra Militarum players and if they had an entire row of Artillery lol

True, though firing ordinence danger close has risks to it. Knowing my luck I'd rather not fire that close!

Oh bit of random thing, but was wondering of opinion as was thinking about later in year (once developed painting skill more from amateur to least semi pro area) to try being a bit of a freelance (unsure right word is "freelance" or not) painter for people.

Aha, I would try making an custom model but unsure in where to get the bits from from other things.

Hmm bitz shops, painters n modelers would know a good one depending on your needs, n exact parts you need.

I use bits n kits, not had a problem so far but not sure some like that one.

Ah all right will have to try getting some as god ideas for conversions and head swaps involving Defiler ( the spare two heads), terminator squad leader for CSM and Daemon Prince.

Hoping if can paint it correctly it will look jaw dropping good lol

Thanks Squidbot. Actually got a sentimental model needing to paint and it is the Ork warboss with big choppa. Going to have to put it onto my gallery to show once its painted and things.

Some models mean more than others but after hours painting them they matter!

Aye this Warboss means a lot to me due to it was the first ever model I ever painted on Ork side and was first that had the most realistic head and hypnotically real eyes ever did lol

Never was able to re create it with any model did after that.

Lol, that is the way, you manage a model of such quality then somehow forget how you did it.

True, I like the painting as it helps me fill time, I'm unemployed at no so need to fill time as otherwise you just start t go bit mad n get stressed etc.

Aha, my work is of a YouTuber so guess make own hours, done a few Warhammer 40k based vids.

Also show my models on there as well as now on here. So my days are either of recording, painting or relaxing lol
