This model+ Belial arms would be brill conversion.

I kind of believe that if it was Agemman, he would have more Ultramarines iconography sculpted on his armour. So it would be more likely he is just a generc SM Terminator Captain. And very nice mini btw though he big frying-pan thing over his head is kind of awkward...maybe just replace it with the eagle like that from the sternguard kit.

My first impression of it was he was the first Jewish captain in terminator armor and strode into battle with a minorah on his suit. Then I realized it was an over stylized iro halo.

Mono-pose, well, remember metals? They were all mono-pose, plastics are just easier to work with IMO.

I wonder whether GW is planning on to release every single ultramarine as a special character, starting from the remaining captains and down to the last servitor.

Also, plastics have the "bonus" of being much more expensive. I shudder to think what a Terminator figure will cost compared to the other new SM monopose characters, considering what they are priced at...

im hoping its a loyalist version of the chaos sm character kit as I can see gw pushing psychic characters after the new ed is out

Then it's a model, not a character. Other factions don't have that many special characters in the first place and just using the model for other purposes is no different to me naming my AOBR Waaaghboss "Duke Gitbasha", not giving me more options ruleswise. A new model is fine and dandy, but I don't think that SM lack in either, models or characters compared to other factions.

I think there's been some misunderstanding based on the Captain being listed as Agemman in the Rule Book article featured in WD.

As far as I'm aware there has been nothing to indicate a new UM character and I'm sure if Agemman was released, the model would be dripping in Ultrabling. Maybe even with an accompanying 'Jealous Sicarius' model.

You know the rules. When someone finishes a conversion and hopes for a "generic kit to work from", you have under a month until their dream kit releases.

Still no Rough Riders though.

So the rumor at B&C is that this guy is available with some 155 pound Ultramarine army bundle. Since he is not Ultra blinged out, I have to assume he will be available outside of an UM deal at some point. Anyone with an early look at the WD, can you confirm (or deny)?

Actually, GW still supports the good old traditions of the hobby - scratchbuilding, improvisation, honing your arts and crafts skills.
