Probably, yeah. But an in game encyclopedia (like Total War) and a list of crafting recipes wouldn't hurt.

All they'd really need is an in-game browser where it let you look at the wiki really.

Excepting of course that MS doesn't let the executives do any meddling and kill the franchise. What I laugh about is the reasons notch gave for flogging and running, which basically boiled down to 'Minecraft is too big a responsibility, I want to go back to slouching around my house in my pants, watching TV and messing about making small-fry indie games again' Yeah, it's pretty easy to do that when you just sold your biggest responsibility for a cool 2.5billion And the problem with that is what exactly? He made a game, sold it for a gakload of money, and now wants to sit on his ass for the rest of his life making games. Why does that rub people in such a bad way? Because it wasn't them? Basically, yes Nah what gets my suspiciously cube-shaped goat is when you post bullcrap like this http://notch.net/2014/09/im-leaving-mojang/ which is basically complaining about how he doesn't want to be a successful game developer, how he hates being responsible for a multi-billion dollar franchise and how he never wanted all this success to begin with. It's not like he was forced at gunpoint to make Minecraft a success, no-one kidnapped his grandma and sent him a ransom note saying 'make a really successful indie game company or the old lady gets it', he could have ducked out at any point he chose. Why can't he just be honest and say, 'y'know what, I'm quitting Mojang because Microsoft has just given me more money than the GDP of some countries, and I don't actually have to work another day in my life. Now if you'll excuse me I have to decide what colour of rare orchids I want in the ming vases on my yacht' I'm not angry about him being successful, I'm angry about him being successful and then complaining about being a success.

Which is more or less what,I was suggesting.
It's not so much a big deal for pc players, as its easy to open up a web browser for the wiki in another window, but console players probably need it. I've not played on console, how is it for Xb/ PS users? Do those versions ave in game instructions/ crafting recipes?

Get with the program man! Being rich is hard. The poor have it easy with their simple taxes and finances and barely having enough to pay their basic needs. The filthy stinking rich are the real sufferers of society
The above post is pure satire mocking the few rich/successful people, such as Notch, who do nothing but complain about how hard it is having more money than the entire third world

I actually kind of get where he's coming from. That's a ton of responsibility, and not everyone is suited for that. Some people just shouldn't be trusted with that kind of responsibility, and others don't want it (and a lot of the ones that do want it are in the former category).

Man, this attracted a lot more attention than I thought! I know that it was acquired. This is not a rumor. Notch and Jeb are retiring with their big bucks.

I saw an interesting infographic that really helps put this in perspective:

Think about that, Minecraft was worth more than Youtube, and almost two thirds the value of Star Wars.
