Was surprised to see this on the front page of the Guardian website today. GW getting some positive mainstream press coverage despite trying ever so hard to avoid it.

I find it funny that I spend more time playing in the Warhmmer universes with the FFG games than the actual tabletop lately.

Obviously, and that's why, but at the same time, it's giving their biggest IP a prominent position on a highly read website and has a lot of positive talk about the 40K universe in the review. I'm sure there were more than a few lapsed gamers who went to the GW website this morning after seeing that (and were no doubt confused that they couldn't buy Forbidden Stars there).

Well it's because I'm writing them. Duh!




But seriously, I'm the same. Basically all my 40K related purchases are there to service the 40K RPGs. 7th Ed broke me, as the link in my sig can attest to, so it's all RPG all the time now.

Game is available now. There are a few early reviews posted that are positive so far. Only negative seems to be that it's a fairly long game, especially the first time you play.
