Much like the widely conjectured Blood Ravens that are said to be Thousand Son descendants, I think the same is true of the Minotaurs. It would explain their berserker nature, single minded proclivities and why the High Lords would; want to keep their founding so Hush Hush. They were made out of the Gene stock of the old War Hounds legion, stored pre-corruption. How likely is this? Plausible or way of base?, and please explain your response if you disagree.
Why is this a better theory than the Chimeric one?
Where is your evidence?
As far as why is it better, that is just my opinion. I think a chimeric geneseed deprives a chapter of heritage and such, and I think ti is lazy fluff writing. If Chimeric was a viable option and provides a more stable option, which is the only reason i can see someone even trying to do that when the established pattern was using geneseed form legions based on primarch dna, why didn't all second founding chapters just be chimeric and loyal to the imperium instead of becoming factional successors to established chapters and legions.
Second, there isn't any established fluff evidence, which is why i posed the question originally. if there were I wouldn't need to ask the question. I said that this is a personal theory because it makes sens based on combat doctrine and legacy, but it is nothing more than conjecture. which is why I asked how plausible other people though the theory could be. IT is purely a thought experiment, nothing more nothing less.

The second founding was the splitting of the legions, none of those chapters were created from the ground up. As for why they didn't use chimeric geneseed on all the subsequent foundings? Simple, they have no idea how to do it reliably. The Minotaurs, if chimeric, are likely an experiment in which their creators don't actually understand why it worked.
