I have about 20 in metal, and another 40 or so in plastic-- I have 20 of each finished. I didn't find them particularly odious, but I can see where all the complaints come from.

I think the detail on the first runs were messed up somehow and that newer runs are a lot better in that regard.
There are some problems with the design and proportions of the goblins themselves though, which demand some cutting and repositioning to really make the best out of the models.
This is a good video that show off the pros and cons of the mantic gobbis: https://youtu.be/2hDhIOD4Q2U

Nice Dwarves and paintjob !
I suppose that the first ones are supposed to be statues and are used as Earth elementals ?
Are they larger than usual to fit being large infantry ?

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

Nice dorfs! Very nordic, and the stone golems are rad
I've mostly been doing Warpath and terrain stuff the last few months, but just finished a Red Goblin Blaster. It's a Warbases handcart, some 1/144 German bombs from Shapeways, and a Mantic goblin with the bow trimmed down to make a fuse lighter

They look good, on top of being economical!
Also here's a for using Hunters, when I finally cave in and do my own Ogres the plan is to spam Hunters hard. Ensnare + Pathfinder (+ Being An Ogre) ftw!

A little late, but that's one of the Reaper Frost Giant models from... Bones 3 I think. It is a nice model, very chunky and durable. My three year old loves him and his bro.

Seeing this thread still alive suddenly reminded me that I had (more than a year ago) promised some Basilean minis! After some frustration with the pics, here they are! As always, picture quality is not my best point, so please bear with me. Hope you like them!

Grokagamok with an axe from Shapeways, a resin skull from Zinge, and the spare head from a Berserker Braves regiment box. I call him Khaguran.
Boomer Sergeant, with a rotary cannon from Shapeways playing the part of a triple barrel punt gun, a resin skull and flask from Zinge, and the spare head from a second Berserker Braves regiment box.
Mammoth with Ballista. Acheson Creations Deinotherium, 5 Mantic Goblins, Hirst Arts crate, chest, and barrels, and a Ballista and heavily modified War Wagon from Warbases.
