That rumour pic is definitely not from Rogue Trader. At least not from those models in the teaser.

It's the mouth of a really, really big Ork. My money is on Ghaz. And they're probably going to announce Orks goodies at Warhammer Fest .. can't wait!

It kind of looks like Grukk's attack squig though. Maybe a proppa plastic warboss?

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

A plastic warboss standalone release is actually my number one wish for the orks. Followed by making all the resin stuff plastic, that I know won't happen and a 30seater battlewagon.
I'm guessing my wishlist is pretty different from most peoples though..

that much light coming in from behind the mouth I doubt it is an ork face whereas the squigs are like 1/3 head/mouth.

I would nto be surprised if it were an attack squg. if it were a larger squig like squigoths then it would need to have more teeth. though it would be cool if we had like a new squig attack pack unit with a squig herder leading them.

They need to mix some AoS models with 40k more. Have the grots squig hurders be 40k compatible.

Does anyone know if Orks are being fully reworked (redone boyz and such), or if they're just getting new models added in? I wouldn't mind either but I'm just wandering

Tiberius thus far no one knows- though there are likely a few rumours around. There's certainly some models in the Ork range which are very old and could do with an update and room for new models as well so it could be anything that comes with their release.

I doubt boyz are being redone given how a lot of the sets like burna boyz/lootas are interchangeable with them. At most, I can see them adding stuff that has long been overdue, like warbuggies/wartrakks alongside deffkoptas, likely in a boxed set like Gorkamorka or against Space Wolves again.

I'm very sure none of the currently sold plastic kits will be replaced.

I imagine GW will release some kind of "Primaris Ork" models that are bigger and badder than the normal orks and have way cooler models.

I'm cool if we get "big bosses" as an intermediary character that shows the growth between Nobz and Warbosses or even a bigger version of Warbosses (Warlords, Overbosses, whatever you want to call em) but I hope they don't have scaled up troop versions. If they do, I prefer they be more elite, ala IG veterans, and be more along the lines of Skarboyz.

I almost guarantee they will, but it will be a kit for "ard Boyz". So ard boyz will be a step up from Boyz and a step below Nobz.

Scarboyz is above boyz. But honestly, the whole prime orks doesn't interest me. I like my good ol fashioned orks the way they are and just want updated models. XD

Tell me about it, as an ork & imperial knights player this was pretty rough. Oh well, at least I have boyz to paint.

Well there was once Scarboyz that fit between Boyz and Nobz. I really don't think primorks are necessary and it would mess up the hierarchy. A Warboss follow's after Nobz. However successful orks keep getting bigger and if Ghazzy is still alive 2 hundred years later he needs to be bigger. His model was already woefully undersized and he reached dreadnought size in the fluff from a Boy in 50-60 years. In the fluff he surrounded himself with a Warboss retinue called his Waaagh Council which did well at showing he's a level above Warbosses and they filled up his roster between Nobz and himself. We just need a bigger Ghazzy model to fit the fluff.
