Likely they're guesses, but they're not too far off the mark from what would likely be present.

I’d say the Daughters box is good, the other AoS boxes would be kinda blah. But, my wife is after Idoneth and DoK, so...both boxes would be solid for someone just starting out with them!

They should do an old style Marine Mega Force to clear out stock.

I love the aesthetic of the army but I'm pretty sure I would actually hate painting them. Already dreading the forty Kairic Acolytes I need to get done to finally have a proper IRL Thousand Sons army, I can't imagine trying to put together a legitimate horde list.

My advice when painting horde units like this is to make your peace with each one not being a masterpiece with dozens of highlights. Apply base coats and washes and then just pick out prominent details (dry brush some if you can) can actually lead to really good looking tabletop quality units.

Glazing is the key to painting hordes. Hit them with a 3 stage zenithial undercoat then use decent brush control and simply paint the model with glazes. You basically achieve the base coat and shade all in one step.

The previous boxes were sold for $170 and contained about $250+ of product at GW retail. The discounts were 30-40% off before counting any retailer discount. The recently revealed Death Guard one also matches this formula.

That said Im not sure those posted ones last page are big enough but havent done the math on them.

I like how the box with smaller centerpiece model has also much less filler, because that's how GW is doing things, eh? Also, "Interceptors"? That sounds like the source just slapped a few units around at random without doing any math, or even checking spelling, especially seeing Imperial Fists would be more themed with Reivers instead of Hellblasters...

I'm presuming the lists on the other pages are guesses because:

A) No other info or source was given.
B) There wasn't a Nighthaunt or Stormcast box.

I believe they are just guesses as well. Only confirmed boxes are what's on the community site at the moment.

I got my white dwarf today and it had the huge Christmas purchase bit at the back.
Maybe they are all in it, I didn’t look, saw all the scenery and paint bundles then put it down, but there were more pages

Would be amazing if they did some kind of Titanicus bundle with Rievers, Warhounds and Warlord(s). Or just bring back the AT GM edition back.

It's plastic; they don't need to "clear out stock". They just grind it up and make it into whatever it is that's selling at the moment.

I'd rather see the Daughters of Khaine box get at least 30witches - ergo a full force of them. That said with such a modest range in terms of model variety the guess probably isn't too far off the mark as the only model it misses is the Doomfire Warlocks (other than Morathi who is a character and thus not suitable for a box like that).

That said if they didnt put a Cauldron in they could load it up with a lot more snakes and khinerai

Well, asymmetric warfare and infiltration tactics are a huge part of siege warfare. Having said that, so is heavy firepower, so I think both units fit Imperial Fists well.

I'm thinking Necrons, Primaris, Nids, Imperial Guard/AM

Assuming they wont touch Eldar because they never do as no plastic models.

Dark Eldar are a maybe.

Necrons because theyre more unique and theyre fairly.

Nids as a wildcard.

Imperial Guard/AM - no idea on this one, but they will definitely want more Imperial rep. Could be Space Wolves.

While I would love for it to be just witch aelves, khinerai and melusai (as that's all I need to finish the army), it's got to have a cauldron in there as that's the only kit you can get the characters from, barring morathi. and each box seems to need something akin to a centre piece for it and the cauldron is it essentially.

Yeah though adding in Doomfire Warlocks would bring the price up to it being in between the death guard and deepkin boxes that we have seen so far, when sold separately. So if there's a DoK box it could contain the cauldron, witch aelves, khinerai, melusai and doomfire warlocks.

These Battleforces are usually available to 3rd party retailers as well, so you would still get that nice 15-25% off the bundle.

Which is why they are good for uk folk but these invariably go for high postage(vs free with solo boxes). No postage if i buy from finland but hard to compete with double discount rate and pound exchange rate.

But this is specific issue with non-uk folks. I just have found discount boxes not work out as such a nice deal with these. (For example gme at at 10% of here still loses buying individually from uk 3rd party'

I hear contradicting stuff regarding that. Some claim gw rep says no reprint, some say yes.

For me due to above mentioned postage issues etc fairly irrelelevant though(plus already have 2 command sets anyway so discount value drops there too. That's why new discount box could be more interesting)

Well as I recall GW said that the starting box was never a limited product, just that its initial wave was a limited production run. So there is every chance it will come back and I do recall that Christmas was when they planned to bring it back. Now GW has the sales data, the production costs and the production schedul so only they know if its viable for them to remake it.

It might be they want to, but that there just isn't room for them to product excess stock of it alongside everything else; or might be it sold well but not enough for them to remake it; or that sales after it ran out have been strong enough that GW doesn't feel the need to offer the discount box again et c....

So they know what its all about and have the hard data

GW already told retailers months ago that there'd be another GM edition reprint.
