Idoneth's a bit of a weird army with regards to structuring.

With this boxed set, you get two Battleline units(Reavers and Thralls)--if you add an Akhelian King, it remains at two(Reavers are "Battleline If" with Isharan[Tidecaster has this keyword]) as the Akhelian Eel Riders get Battleline with a King as General.

$90 of that box is tied up in the two sharks. The Eels are a lot bigger than most people think(they take up the same base that the Gryph-Chargers, Dracoths, and Varanguard feature) but $50 for them felt a bit much--as did $50 for 10 Thralls or Reavers.

With the Kharadron Overlords and Stormcast Vanguard Chamber, we saw a Battleforce before a Start Collecting set--I think this is going to be the manner to expect the Deepkin to go.

I'd expect the Deepkin SC to be something like:
-Akhelian King($40USD)
-Akhelian Eel Riders($50USD)
-Namarti Thralls OR Reavers(guessing Reavers, Thralls were big sellers)


Additionally, I wouldn't be surprised to see a GSC box. Tau got two different ones within two years. We could see a box with the Aberrants and Abominants.

That AoS desolate Town could mesh well with Eldar eldritch ruins and deathworld terrain to represent an ancient Eldar settlement lost to time and carnivorous shrubs!

Can anyone tell from the picture just what the hell the contents of the Plasma Nexus are?

If I had to guess I'd say one Furnace, half a box of Reactors, one box of Regulators and two (?) Conduit boxes.

I couldn't even begin to tell you what's in the Sector Imperialis box.

It seems to have some, yes. I'm thinking they have a kind of "Industrial Ruins" sprue they're planning on putting out ala the Sector Imperialis Ruins.

You're better off playing the "wait and see" game. Insurrection Force was recently pulled from the GW webstore(they finally sold through it, I think).

The Manufactrorum has some broken pipe and tank pieces that are new, and the Plasma Nexus and Munitions Hub have floor pieces that are repurposed from the Skyshield Landing Pad (not the same parts, but the same digital assets). Those last pieces were "previewed" months ago, on the Killzone: Sector Munitorum Environment Expansion for Kill Team.

That is actually something I hadn't considered--I wonder if those boxes will include the card bits?

I don't think those are real pieces they'll be selling. I think they're just to give them something that isn't the city or the regular RoB board for a base.

There are definitely new wall sections in that kit.

5 boxes? That's 30 pipes (plus corners, generators, extra bits and so on).

That seems quite unrealistic. And is it one Haemotrope reactor box, or just one reactor, which is half the box? Pic only shows one.

Well it wouldn't be 5 pipes on their own.

For $350 it's not out of the realms of impossible. Probably somewhere in the middle is more realistic I agree. These bundle boxes usually have a 15%-20% discount applied (so one box out of the lot is free)

That article was posted months ago with no new information surfacing on it until now so until further confirmations are released - who knows!

I hope that price is wrong for the Munitorum Munitions Hub because that's an extra $70 over two Killzones, I was going to get a couple if it was $280-$300 even though I don't need that many cranes

One of the new battleforces would have to be exactly Thousand Sons for me to be interested right now (can't be tempted by GSC, can't be tempted by GSC, yes I know they look cool and have interesting rules but I can't be tempted by GSC...) though the chances of that are fairly low if they're already doing a Death Guard one.

Not sure if anyone has noticed, but the wall sections are different. More industrial / Mechanicum themed.

The Manufactorum pieces makes me wonder if they'd ever do Hab slums or something along those lines. Hab blocks were always the missing segment from the old Cities of Death stuff- that had cathedrals, fancy admin and government buildings, and industrial buildings. These have now been mostly recreated in Sector kits.

The closest we have at present are the Ryza ruins.

No, they're definitely different. Notice the rectangular windows in the walls, and lack of gothic arches.
