I have a thought that kind of proves my point.

I had a rather sizeable Warriors of Chaos army built off the old Monkey Back Warrior plastics. When the new kit came out, I simply added a unit in, and it was grossly out of aesthetic with the old awful plastics. So replace the entire army.

Apply that to ANY 40K army where the old minis were absolute garbage.

Looking for dice from the new AOS boxed set and Dark Imperium on the cheap. Let me know if you can help.

Do you know how long it's taken me to paint the current army?? That's a 'nein, nyet, hell no!' from me.

Only if the rules got updated, buying new models when their rules are bad, seems to make no sense to me.

If you have to kill, then kill in the best manner. If you slaughter, then slaughter in the best manner. Let one of you sharpen his knife so his animal feels no pain.

It really depends on the models. I.e. I still use my 2nd edition power armoured Space Wolves as the new plastic kit doesn't look better. But now they are slowly getting phased out by Primaris as I really like the new proportions and they are fun and easy to paint.

It's totally different with TDA though.
I never again fielded old metal termies once I assembled the beauty that is the Wolf Guard Terminators kit. I also replaced my Rhinos.

I recently decided to paint some loyal 32. But the Catachans I still had lying around are too ugly, so I ordered a greatcoat platoon from Anvil Industries.

It's all about the looks for me as I really can't play that much anymore.

So yes.

I play Sisters and prefer metal in some cases.

As far as 1:1 yeah, no I'm not interested in getting rid of what I already got, just to have to rebuild and repaint units. Now if Sisters get a NEW unit (closest thing so far has been what the Geminae?) then yeah, I'm all for that. But a NEW Immo kit with the same options? Done it. Exorcist? I have two, Sisters themselves? I got plenty, etc. etc.

But you introduce Termie equivalent Sisters and I'd be all over that.
