There's a lot of rumour engine models that seem very likely to be CC expansions if it's not.
I just don't think we're likely to hear of them until the rerelease.

C'mon it's obvious all the weird wolfpire stuff in the last Soulblight book was meant for Cursed City and releasing those models again as expansions now would be awkward.

Come on, GW said Cursed City expansions are coming. Surely they wouldn't lie to us about Cursed City!
That said, since Cursed City has already been released I could see them not wasting time on giving the reissued core game a separate release and just put it in the same week as the first expansion. And I think it may still be a little early in the year for that.

In retrospect i am happy they didn't release cursed city properly. Having now played it a few times its got no replayability and gets dull fast. If we want mindless dungeon crawling the original quest gets brought out...

They should probably call their next Warhammer Quest release "Very blessed and not at all built on a burial ground city" and see if they can shake the bad mojo from Cursed City.

It's not likely an online preview will have pricing let alone reveal a price increase for an old kit. However, they may be repacking the Rhino to be that command Rhino that was a Warhammer World exclusive. Wouldn't work, since the rhino primaris and land raider excelsior parts are all mixed together on a single sprue.

Eh not really considering GW did a made to order and regular production release is coming. So it shouldn't have any issues. If anything there's a bigger market of people who 100% want expansions.

I’m really not convinced that we’re intended for Cursed City. All Warhammer Quest minis since Blackstone fortress have been push fit. The wolfy vampires were not.

Interesting to see if rumours of new spiders any reality
Have there been "reliable" rumors that ogors and gits are next? Kind of wondering if SoB will be this year since a new book would really only require one new mega-G kit or possibly a new sprue for the existing kit to provide a few new options for the army.

None of them are push-fits and all of the characters (Rat guy, Annika, Babushka and exalted Radukar) are too large for the board segments. It's more likely that the battletome should have been - according to plan - the grand finale after the last expansion of Cursed City.
There are some areas on the map that weren't represented with models, so I expect ghouls, ghosts and maybe undead dryads in the expansions.

Theres's 2 factions left without any aos3 update. Both destruction.
Sob got already aos3 update. You think gw would leave the 2 without any update until next year?
If they wanted sob in fall they would have given wd update to gits or ogors but since those stopped...
You can disbelieve but i'm willing to bet with cash if wd updates were still coming sure but those are over.

You can do whatever you like with your money, I am just making conversation. I agree that the current trend with the WDs does support the idea, but at some point those armies that got WD updates are going to receive new battletomes. Since a new SoB book could launch with minimum new models, it could be a simple plug-in release if GW decides to shift things around for whatever reason. Again, only speculating/wondering since I don't recall viewing any screen-captures/potato-camera shots/or Reddit quotes regarding destruction armies like I have seen for the other factions. I don't think it is unreasonable to assume that the two upcoming books are somewhere in the wild given other leaks that are not scheduled until after said books unless they are both minimum effort releases.

They definitely weren’t.
That’s not the speed and timeline GW do things. They aren’t just going to write them in to change what it’s for.
Notwithstanding the fact it isn’t push fit as mentioned.
People just see the issues with CC, and everything else “must be” damage control.
I see no reason they wouldn’t release the expansions shortly after CC is back in stock proper or whatever they said was happening. The rerelease.
So later in the year it will come.
And yeah, they announced expansions. They’re obviously coming.
Ridiculous to think they’d do that ant then not. Just like all the people saying maybe Old World isn’t ever gonna come out (hopefully they’re just tongue in cheek, but with half this lot who knows).
It’s like no one understands how businesses work at the best of times, let alone post covid, delivery issues, China prices and all this other stuff.
Always has to be a conspiracy.
Sure GW aren’t the best, price rises are getting ridiculous for one. But they still care about their customers not to feth them about (which is to say they care about money, which comes from customers).

The worst would be Angron standing next to the new Berzerkers and that's it, because it would confirm the rumors that there's nothing else coming (except the rumored flying juggerlord).

Oh yeah the god themed cultist unit that's most likely going to be Khorngors. I forgot about them in the background of the image. There's also the rumored "8 bloodletters possessing one marine" guy who's probably the one holding that big sword on the right side of the image.
I wouldn't call them potentially crappy but unless they're super cheap or have some kind of alternate use, I don't see a place for them as a melee unit in an army with Berzerkers in it.
