I suppose? As an existing longtime WHFB player with multiple armies (including Empire) I'm not really the target audience for most Old world releases.
In the case of the Empire? I can pick up a new War Wagon to replace one lost long ago. And a few ancient Ogres that were history before even I started playing....
So it doesn't really matter to me what they release for the Empire.

I had been holding out extreme hope for the 6th ed plastics to be rereleased, even as a limited run thing. Very optimistic, I know.

I have the Free Company on order and picked up the old General. Both are for 40k.

Might pick up the mobile altar or some more state troops.

Normally i like my skaven but seeing as how they're a Legends army in Old World and lord knows how long beastmen get to a full release i have to say the old imperial guard gun-line lover in me would probably love empire.

I probably wouldn't be as into the demigryphs so much as the massive artillery batteries but i'm not sure how valid that list would be. If i recall helstorm rockets were scary but steam tanks also felt kinda cheesy. I'm also curious about the buff wagons (luminark of hysh and the priest buff wagon)

I suppose we'll see as empire's only real weakness was melee (except the demigryphs and maybe cavalry).
