Not too fond of how shiny, smooth and artificial some of those look, although I'm guessing that's mostly down to the way they've been painted (seems it might be trying to emulate the early 2010s video game artstyle)

I wonder if there'll be any scenery? If not it might finally be the excuse I need to get one of the battle systems modern urban/ city block sets. All my 28mm skirmish type terrain is either very sci fi or very fantasy.

Thinking about it, there are some video game conceits that won't translate easily when it comes to things like exploring the map to find the crashed UFO, then exploring the UFO one room at a time, etc. Or hunting around the map to find the aliens, revealing fog of war carefully, etc. A heroquest-style reusable board or book of battle maps would be quite good for that sort of thing. I guess the encounters in this will more take the form of "you've found them and entered combat", skipping the exploration. Or the exploration might be more rolling on tables! Whatever happens, I am definitely onboard.

I hope they're not too expensive
I'd love to pick this up but that's a lot of resin mini boxes!

Edit: looking at their site it seems about £25/box?
Which wouldn't be unreasonable for half a dozen resin figures. But still, you'd be looking at multiple £hundreds to get figures with the game, which would be disappointingly dear

Hate to break it to you but more like £40-50 RRP for 6 figures from Modiphius usually. Though there are regular sales.
