if the Forgeworld rules are cannon, why are they banned from every official GW tournament?

this is was already addressed in the rules found in IA II

a tournament organizer, any tournament organizer for that matter,  has the right to not allow anything from GW in thier own tournaments weather it  be FW models&rules, codex specific land raiders, hell they can even disallow all space marine armies if they so desire.

I don't know. Why are/were the Catachan Jungle fighting rules not allowed in GT's when they were in their own codex?

We had a no MEQ RTT.

Yakface won it with his IG.

All I learned from this thread is that my Librarian with fear/fury 4 termis and 2 aslt cans 2x 6 man marines with las/plas 2x 6 marines with double melta all in pods and Titan of uber death isn't legal at tournies sighs.....

Personally I feel that basic GW rules cause enough problems without allowing wacky add-on rules from Forgeworld.

As I was saying, we all learn nothing from wacky forgeworld $400 models running around, what's next a marine army wit 9 speeder assault cannons 2 libs with fear and fury ds with 4 termies with 2 assault cannons a squad! This is absurd!

However, if you're a judge, then you don't have to worry about the correct effect of Infernus shells on fearless troops, on top of everything else that you're doing.
